Also, won't he look even dumber if he decides to enter the Royal Rumble to get a title show, when he has a briefcase that can get him a title match. Anytime and anyplace?

I don't think any MITB holder has made it this far close to Rumble season. Unless the dude thinks he can win the rumble AND have MITB at the same time.

It's happened a few times. Ziggler and Carmella both cashed in after Mania. Dolph actually entered the Rumble at #1 with it.

I kind of feel inclined to think Priest is eventually going to successfully cash in out of a mix of 1), Judgment Day is their big draw right now, and 2), there's no reason not to have had him just blow the cash in by now if he isn't going to win the belt because it's so obviously an albatross around the entire show and losing the tag titles would be reason enough for he and Finn to finally just break up already. That said it's still super frustrating seeing the same old shit happening with Priest over and over and over and over like this.
