I think Drew wins the title again in Scotland, then fueds with Punk at Summerslam and maybe does a double turn?

He's definitely winning it back at Clash at the Castle.
For now, his player hating dooming him is perfect.

I really don't think he's re-signed after that, but we'll see lmfao Why? The match with Punk is bigger than the WHC. People have been shitting on that belt since it's been a thing, can't really turn around now and say it's crucial to keeping people. I mean he isn't beating Punk either, so idk

Hadn't thought about this but saw it pointed out on Twitter, ultimately it wasn't just player hating but hypocrisy that cost Drew. He kept telling Seth he needed to focus on their match but he himself was more focused on Punk than the title.

I have no idea whether he'll stay or not, but they're treating him exceptionally well.

Probably the best way they could’ve handled Drew losing the belt. His hating ways being his downfall was done perfectly. Punks reaction was really funny too

Drew’s final hating form might reach peak hate AKA ‘99 Big Bosman levels after what happened tonight. Someone check on Larry. Hadn't thought about this but saw it pointed out on Twitter, ultimately it wasn't just player hating but hypocrisy that cost Drew. He kept telling Seth he needed to focus on their match but he himself was more focused on Punk than the title. He also spent so long whining about the Bloodline cheating to beat him but had no problem taking the dirty win at EC to earn his Mania spot when outside interference screwed Orton.

That was absolutely incredible. Such poetic justice that him being a petty hater is what did him in.

If Drew doesn’t win in Scotland I think he’s probably done. I get the result last night fitted his character and that’s fine. But Scotland needs to be his moment.

Well, personally, I thought that was one of the best title runs, end to end, in years.

Hah.
For years on here I've been saying all I wanted was to see Drew win the belt in front of fans.
HHH straight up Monkey's Paw wish'd the shit out of me.
It was a funny gag though, and I love that in the space of 5 minutes, Drew McIntyre managed to play his entire character, set up two feuds, and celebrate, and then lose. There are months long title runs that don't tell nearly as good a story.
Also, the WWE have last minute shoved a Glasgow PPV into the schedules, without booking in advance, which is why its in the tiny Hydro. This is the most telling thing to me that Drew has re-signed. The suddenness. In which case, we'll get a longer title run in the near future!

Drew literally crouching on the announce table to hold the belt up to Punk was fantastic.
That he just kept on pushing the button and it cost him was funny yet tragic.

If Roddy Piper was still alive, I wonder if WWE would have them do a Pipers Pit in regards to this storyline?

This is actually pretty nice. Not nice enough to logjam hate, but nice!
