Five nominees get in, right?
I'd vote for Ozzy, ATCQ, Oasis, Mariah Carey, and Cher. Though whew that's a really stacked nominee list and I think a lot of them are deserving if getting in.

That's a good list. I'd pick Ozzy, Carey, Cher, Oasis and Kravitz
I have never listend to the Dave Matthews Band because of the shit name. I am sure they must be quite good, but I can't look past the most boring band name in existance.

Oooh Oasis got nominated. Is this the first time?
I’m picking Oasis, Ozzy, Foreigner, Jane’s Addiction & Lenny Kravitz.

Unlikely: Blige, DMB, Eric B & Rakim, Foreigner, Kool & the gang, Sade
50/50: Carey, Frampton, Jane's Addiction, O'Connor
In: Cher, Kravitz, Oasis, Osbourne, A Tribe Called Quest
I don't think I missed anyone?

As for my picks, I’d go Ozzy, Cher, Carey, Eric B & Rakim, and Sade just because I’m a massive mark for her. But I see Sade’s slot probably going to Sinead or Oasis.

If Oasis gets in, who'll come and accept the induction?

Kind of an eh list for me if I’m being honest.
If I had to choose based on my own personal taste: Ozzy, Tribe, Jane’s Addiction, Sade, Eric B & Rakim.
Still annoyed Joy Division/New Order didn’t get in last year and they ain’t even on the list this year!

Oasis just for the slim chance of getting both Liam and Noel to turn up seems too good to resist.

Would love to see Oasis get in. But still no Alice in Chains, Soundgarden or Meatloaf?

Would love to see Oasis get in. But still no Alice in Chains, Soundgarden or Meatloaf? Soundgarden may have a shot as Cornell’s death brought a lot of attention to how good he really was. AIC (my personal favorite of the “Seattle Big Four”) doesn’t get the acclaim and coverage that Nirvana and Pearl Jam and sometimes Soundgarden do by the mainstream tastemakers so I’d say they’re a long shot.

Really funny that I think everybody who was on the fan ballot that didn’t get voted in were removed from the nominee list.

Sade needs to be the band and not just her. I know it’s the name for both but I always feel the band gets overlooked when they’re damn fine musicians.
