Re Heyman, is this the first time an active heel has gone in? It’ll be curious how much of the “real” Paul we get given he’s from the carny days and they kept kayfabe last year with JD walking out of Rey’s speech.

Weird that Luger's not being inducted for this year. I'm starting to think he's going to be a "Vader induction", meaning WWE is probably waiting until he dies before they "honor" him. Same thing with Bill Eadie most likely.

I also think it’s a scrapping the bottom of barrel, at least when it comes to the big names of the 80s and 90s, the list gets shorter and shorter every year. Gone are the days where Mick Foley is the 2nd or 3rd biggest names of his class. So they are probably holding out on some bigger inductions for future years. I don’t know what the deal with Vader was, I’m guess it was one of Vince games the more someone wants to go into the hall of fame, the longer he would make them wait for it. Either way it’s an odd ball class. Thunderbolt feels like a legacy induction they did a few years back, US Express kinda feels they are being inducted because of Bray, the rest of them are no brainers. I can’t believe it took this long to do Ali. As for the Rocks mom at least more people know her story because of Young Rock, what a strange show that was

Weird that Luger's not being inducted for this year. Batista's induction being delayed as many times as it has been is, too. Really seems like the reason Luger hadn’t gone in is because of his physical condition. Foley mentioned it on his podcast that Vince didn’t want Foley at a certain ceremony because of his physical state, so Foley figure that’s why Luger isn’t in. Vader didn’t go in while alive because Vince just plain didn’t feel like it

Gone are the days where Mick Foley is the 2nd or 3rd biggest names of his class. They definitely have a set way to do it now. I don't think they're going to run out of headliners since it'll be a combination of retired guys and semi-active stars; Batista, Rock, Cena, Orton, Triple H, Lesnar (eventually), RVD, Jeff Hardy, Punk, Sheamus...so that's 10 years right there...then you have Reigns, Rollins, McIntyre, Lashley, Miz, Kofi, etc. I don't think Lex, Sid or Demolition are getting in. Just every year they're overlooked for someone else...and honestly there's been many opportunities to induct them in previous years.

Lex is a strange one because he's in good graces with WWF. I don't think there's as much resentment towards him over Elizabeth as there had been but you never know what fool will try to disrupt the ceremony. He probably should have been inducted with the Horsemen. He can walk with a cane and if he can only do short distance, he can be helped a bit but a diva. Not sure if they still do that but it would be good for him. If appearances are the reason he's overlooked, have him helped around backstage in the wheelchair until he gets to the curtain. It wouldn't surprise me if Vince didn't want him simply because of the wheelchair. Him leaving WWF for WCW could be an issue but most people who hold resentment for that are probably long gone.
I can see Paul reaching out to Demolition but there's only so many teams they can put in and given the lawsuit they would probably be not top priority.

When are they going to put Rob Van Dam in the Hall of Fame? He was part of the 2021 class along with Kane, Molly Holly, Eric Bischoff, The Great Khali, celebrity inductee Ozzy Osbourne, Warrior Award winner Rich Hering and legacy inductees Dick the Bruiser, "Pistol" Pez Whatley, Buzz Sawyer, Ethel Johnson and Paul Boesch. That was also the year they put in the 2020 class save Batista because of you know.

I am pleased to hear that Rob is in but now disturbed to learn that the Great Khali is in. Who headlined that? Kane? I tried watching all the HOF ceremonies before, but these things drag. Not doable like watching back to back Rumbles.

Kind of weird they didn't induct him the same year as his son. Heyman could have waited a year if you wanted to make Bray the headliner, but you'd think it would mean more to do it directly after his passing. Just my 2 cents.

I don't remember Khali going in, that surprises me.
I forgot Bulldog went in. I thought he was a pretty big omission until just now seeing the year he went in.

I don’t think the Us Express was going in because of Bray anyway. They’re the only ones left to induct from the very first Mania (Outside Cyndi Lauper)

King Kong Bundy and Leilani Kai are still not in. Not sure about Matt Borne (probably got a legacy induction). David Sammartino is not in though not surprising. Bruno did not talk to him for many years and they never reconciled prior to Bruno's passing.
