I'm going to start with one that could raise some eyebrows:
Undertaker vs Shawn Michaels in the first Hell in a Cell.
It feels like Undertaker beating up Shawn for 20 minutes until Kane comes out.
Yes, it was inventive, and basically reinvented the cage match, but jeesh...so many better cell matches in the future IMO.
How about you?

Outside of the demolition derby tag team ladder matches of the late 90’s/early 00’s, you can slot pretty much every beloved Edge match in here as my answer.

The Cena US Championship open challenge matches were such a drag. just BIG MOVE -> 2 COUNT!!! over and over for 20 minutes then Big Match John big match wins and his opponents didn't get booked any differently afterwards so it all felt pointless.

Steamboat-Savage, Wrestlemania 3. “Let’s blow off a hot injury angle with a bunch of 2 counts that all feel like 2 counts.”

I'll go one further and say almost every Cena "classic". I like the guy personally but a lot of the matches lauded as classics are for me very good at best, plus LOL CENA WINS is always a dark cloud over his matches for me. Different tastes and all.

Pretty much any Taker match...Sorry just never cared for him.
There was a Cena vs Umanga match that I saw get amazing reviews for years. Looked it up 4 or 5 years ago and to me it was pretty much standard WWE main event match from that era.

I've never gotten the hype for either Shawn/Taker Mania match.

I really have no earthly idea what people like about the Bryan / Roman Fastlane 2015 match. To me it's just kind of a bleh Raw main event where the only memorable parts of it are the finish that's obvious from a mile off and the stupid spot where Bryan just keeps doing suicide dives.

Bret/Shawn at WM12 Iron Man Match, I thought it was boring and I thought the Rock/HHH Iron Match was better IMO.

I've never gotten the hype for either Shawn/Taker Mania match. I liked the first one fine enough, didn't think much of the second. Whenever someone asks why they didn't get the Meltzer Five Star Ratings, I want to reply that they're just 90's AJPW main events with fewer cool moves and wrestlers that more people recognize. I would be legitimately interested to hear if there are any AJPW/NOAH fans who think the Michaels/Taker matches are actually the better matches, because I feel like my take is pretty dismissive.

John Cena vs AJ Styles from Royal Rumble 2017.
I haven't watched it back since but at the time it just felt like two guys trading finishers for 20 minutes, similar to a lot of WWE main events during that period.

Sting vs. Ric Flair at the inaugural Clash of the Champions.
It's just long and drawn-out, and the match going to judges who declared it a draw is just a weak ending.

Yeah, even at the time I thought both that and their SummerSlam match sucked ass. Just moves with no rhyme or reason until eventually one of them doesn't kick out.

I still have yet to see a hyped Cena match that lived up to the hype in my eyes.
Dude aint horrible. But nothing about him stands out.
And one with two wrestlers I love,I didnt see the WCW Eddy vs Rey Jr PPV match that was loved until maybe 10 years ago. Might be I had seen so many of their matches before I saw that one. Might be I am just missing something. Just felt like an average match between two of the best in WCW at that time.

austin/hart wrestlemania 13, i know it's good but everyone talks about it like it was the greatest thing ever
bret/bulldog summerslam 1992, i prefer the in your house 5 match, which never gets mentioned, way more intense, same with razor/shawn ladder match at wrestlemania 10, i prefer the summerslam 1995 one

Adam Cole vs. Johnny Gargano match at Takeover New York, which the crowd loved but did nothing for me. I thought it was overbooked as hell.
Punk vs. Cena at NOC 2012. Basically just them hitting each other with their finishers for however long the match was.
