When you go to wrestling shows, do you buy food to eat during the show? I usually eat dinner before I go to shows, but occasionally I'll grab something to eat or drink, but usually I'm too caught up in the action to even get hungry.

I usually grab something to eat when I get to the arena and that usually holds me over for the rest of the show.

I pretty much exclusively go to independent shows, so one of my favorite things to do is see if the hot dogs are good.

Only time I ever have was when I was at Wrestle Kingdom 12. The Tokyo Dome served up some reasonably priced and quite tasty chicken strips and chips. Think it was about ¥500

When you go to wrestling shows, do you buy food to eat during the show? I usually eat dinner before I go to shows, but occasionally I'll grab something to eat or drink, but usually I'm too caught up in the action to even get hungry. I usually end up grabbing something to eat. But most shows now I am there at 3pm and so by intermission at 8pm I am hungry. Drinks...I always got a 12 pack of something to drink behind the table. And with food it depends on the venue and price. Like the civic center in town, now that Bumpers is not vending...yea aint gonna drop 10 bucks on a ok burger, bag of chips and can of soda. I know why Bumpers is gone and why Munchies on the GO is there. But their prices are way too high for average food. Most other venues it is hotdogs and hamburgers for an ok price. So I don't mind spending 5 or 6 bucks for food. As for missing the action. There is at least 8 or so matches just from the civic center in town where while filming I walk over to the snack stand and buy a drink. Speaking of snacks, you been at any of the shows where RJW ,of Muddy Waters,is selling his beef jerky? Good stuff. Plus I have learned that say if I am at The GCW clubhouse in Bay St Louis I am gonna get a cheese burger. Burger and a can of soda is 4 bucks. Leave a buck in the jar as a tip. If it is Ocean Springs I usually have some chips with me and after the show hit up the snack stand for food. The lady running it always has a few hotdogs left over. Grab 2 and eat them while packing up. Pascagoula is the VFW hall and there the burgers are damn good. Plus if I want one they got beer for a decent price. TLDR-Yea I do end up eating at shows.

I eat before I go, except at All In where I had no choice. Proportionally speaking for price and quality, that is the worst food I've ever had in my life

When my friend and I go to local indie shows, we have gotten food. The venue that hosts those shows actually has people who cook the food. I mean, I could buy a burger, hot dog, tacos, etc, and they are actually cooked, not left under heating lamps. But other times, we just eat before we go to the shows.

Nah, it's overpriced and the quality is sub par, same reason why I don't eat at movie theaters.

Yea that is the advantage of indies down here. Most venues they run has a kitchen. So the food is cooked there. That is why I thought that shrimp poboy from Munchies on the Go 2 shows ago would be worth the 10 bucks. Then I saw the kid putting a premade po boy in the microwave.......Now I am a admitted seafood snob. Grew up with both grandfathers running fishing boats/shrimpboats. Ate fresh gulf seafood at least 3 times a week. And that po boy was the DIRT WORST po boy I have ever had. 6 tiny ass shrimp on it. And they were rubbery.

My dad and I usually get dinner before the shows, at one of the many restaurants located in Boston. The exception being the second show we attended, when AEW was still running the Agganis Arena. The trains ran late and we grabbed a very quick dinner at a chicken place before heading over to the arena. During the show, my dad went to the restroom and came back with a couple of slices of pizza. And it was good pizza, too!
We would never get food at the Garden, though. I spent $10 on two bottles of water at Blood and Guts, I can't imagine what the actual food costs lol

I'll get a couple beers or sodas, but that's about it.
Not trying to pay like, $5.00 for a hot dog that cost them $0.30 and I'll be done with in three bites.
When I travel for a show I'll usually try and find a good place to eat near the venue before.

Maybe a soda and pizza at the beginning, otherwise I just eat when I get home.
For Indy shows, I usually stop at In-N-Out afterwards, as a lot of the wrestlers stop in as well. I’ve run into Jeff Cobb, Jack Perry, Lince Dorado and Mr. Cisco from Lucha Underground at my local In-N-Out.

Absolutely not.
I was recently at an event at the same arena that hosts WWE and AEW shows where I live, and they wanted 15 bucks for a piece of Hunt Brothers Pizza and a can of Coke. For those of you not familiar with the brand name, Hunt Brothers Pizza is primarily located within convenience stores. So I paid $15 for a slice of pizza and a small drink when I could've gotten an entire pizza and a 2-liter of soda for the same price at the closest gas station.

I had a hot dog at WrestleMania last year. Can't complain.
When I lived in Chicago, I used the frequent the McDonald's near Allstate Arena. BTW, any other Chicagoans remember when there was like three things by the :I'm old: Rosemont Horizon?

No, I'll buy a soda but that's it. My arena is notorious for not having railings on all of their stairs, and I'm notorious for being a klutz so the less I have to juggle, the better. Usually get something to eat on the way home, or have something before.

Think it was about ¥500 If you ever take in a show at Ryogoku Kokugikan I recommend a craft beer place called Popeye about 5 minutes walk away. It has a good menu and is popular with wrestling fans who usually pack the place before an event. www.70beersontap.com/
