Won’t be surprised either way. Honestly don’t care too much either way really. Whatever happens going forward will just have major Rock involvement for no good reason anyways. edit: voted yes I agree. I think no matter who wins, and however things play out, Rocky is going to be the main focus going forward. He's already taking the spotlight off of both Roman and Cody. I voted 'no' as I genuinely think WWE could end up having Cody choke again. Who knows, maybe Roman retains, then Rocky's like "Now Cody's book is closed for good The Rock wants to finish HIS story!" Rock's going straight into a movie shoot after Mania pretty much, so he'll be gone until at least the Summer, assuming he plans on making more regular appearances. Personally, I doubt we'll see much of him before 2025.

I think it was hard to split the belts because the Universal title is what held the record and the wwe championship is the biggest prize in the industry so it also had to be tied into the story, so they kind of just booked themselves in a corner with this one lol I mean, the solution is to not have done it in the first place, in a situation that was beyond avoidable, but *shrug*. He should of beat Drew for the wwe title instead in 2020

I'm gambling on no, I have this nagging doubt he's winning. They're so over the top with Cody obviously winning, I'll say Roman wins.
Put it this way, my head says Cody wins, my heart says Roman.
That's also because I have zero interest in anything Cody does, and love the Bloodline stuff.

After last year, I will not believe Roman is losing until after the three is counted and the show ends. No matter the situation or opponent.

If Cody loses again he’s going to be wearing polka dots as the one true lord and ruler of Bitchhalla and ready to achieve Bitchvana.

He better.
For the last two weeks, Raw has ended with Cody Rhodes getting beaten into a fine paste at the hands of The Rock and Roman Reigns. He was on the offensive for a grand total of maybe 30 seconds. Since The Rock whispered in his ear that he was going to make him bleed, he's been a scared, beaten puppy. And presuming The Bloodline wins on Saturday night, that means it will have been since the March 18 Raw since Cody has had anything resembling the upper hand.
If he loses the main event on WrestleMania Sunday, then what was all this for? To feed The Rock's fragile ego after he was forced to turn heel? To build up Roman Reigns as even more unstoppable? To continue to make the fans miserable and dash all semblances of hope for at least the next year? They've proven that they can swerve the fans with the ending of WrestleMania 39 and get away with it, but I really think if they have Reigns win again on Sunday, it'll be the kind of decision that drives fans away. At some point you've got to give them the happy ending.
As I said last year, if Andy Dufresne was apprehended at the border at the end of "The Shawshank Redemption," it wouldn't have left the audience in the theater saying, "Wow, I hope he's able to break out in 'The Shawshank Redemption 2!'" Rocky Balboa beat Apollo Creed at the end of "Rocky II." Had he lost, I don't know if we'd even get a "Rocky III," because what would be the point? At what point do people just say they're tired of leaving disappointed and turn it off?

I am not even going to bother watching the match or any Roman match until after I read the result. I just want this predictable, repetitive shit over with.

Let’s not forget that this is the same dude that did a movie shoot from like 2AM to 2PM and then got on a plane and flew to Raw only to get right back on the plane and fly back to the movie shoot as soon as Raw over that time. No chance that he just disappears after WM.

If Roman retains, I'm a longtime fan of his so it SHOULDN'T bother me but thanks to Dwayne Hogan, it will because it's just gonna keep being all about The Rock until next year and I had to suffer through that over a decade ago. I refuse to go through that again.

Once the hilariousness of WWE failing to read the room subsides, we're gonna be back at square one with an absentee champion and interest in WWE cooling off from the highs they're experiencing as of late.

I think Cody wins but I can see a scenario where he doesn’t. The company clearly wanted Reigns/Rock and their original idea had the title on the line (before the crowd dumped all over it and demanded Cody). If that’s still their end game, then they could have Reigns retain and build towards that next year. The problem with that though is that another year of Roman holding the belt would have absolutely no drama because 1) there’s no more legit challengers other than Cody and Rock, and 2) he’s not losing the belt anywhere except WM and everyone knows it.
In the end, I think Cody wins, but Bloodline is kinda like NWO now where business is doing so well with them on top that it would be hard for them to deviate even if Cody is clearly ready to lead the company

I’ll be honest, I’m not convinced that would happen if Cody loses. This isn’t me saying the audience are fickle but I also sort of feel like they have enough faith embedded into them that if Cody doesn’t win, they’ll think he can try again next time. Like, I’d like to be proven wrong about that but I do also think it’s believable that they’d look at how well Rock and Roman segments are doing and want to keep the Bloodline money train going especially with Tama Tonga in the wings who you can put in the group.

I don't think interest in WWE will crater to absolute zero if Cody loses, but I expect things will never be as hot as it is now, buoyed by The Great WrestleMania Pivot.

I mean, people thought it wouldn’t get as popular as it is now with Cody losing the first time but here we are. Hey, I want Cody to win as much as anyone else does but it wouldn’t be the first time the WWE, never mind any other company, got cocky and pushed themselves a bit for the sake of money. Austin heel turn anyone?
