Paul Heyman is a conman who will say whatever makes him and everything he's attached to better than it is and anything good that happens he can tangentially associate himself with is entirely because of his genius. Brock is a piece of shit. That is where the conversation ends. Like Benoit before him, his ability in the ring is irrelevant.

Even separating the art from the artist, in my personal opinion Brock is one of the most overrated wrestlers of all time. His 2014-2024 "final boss" run drew a huge amount of praise and accolades when, for me, 99% of the time he was just grinding the week-to-week storylines to a halt and holding the world championship hostage to show up 4-5 times per year and have the same SUPLEX CITY match we had already seen 20 times before.
With the sole exception of one foot out the door flannel-wearing face Brock at the very, very end of his run I, quite frankly, think Brock Lesnar absolutely f***ing sucks.

I’m surprised he didn’t choose Punk as #3. But as a talent, Brock is rated where he is suppose to be

Murder and sexual exploitation are both over the "f*** you, get in the memory hole" line. I don't give a shit who is worse, they're both beyond the point where it matters. I think he's on to something. When brock is dialed in, he is INCREDIBLE & can make a match a million times better and more exciting

He can feel whatever he likes.
I think Brock tends to be thought of as an all-timer, especially in terms of monster heels that have longevity, and he's won a lot of titles and held them for extensive times. He's definitely got his flowers, so I'd call him "rated". Big deal and treated like one.

The Brock Lesnar character is fine where he is. I can't rate him higher from a purely onscreen standpoint due to that lame ass Suplex City Era.

We are equating him to a man who killed his family now? Yes. Yes, we are. In many quarters, rapists and molesters are on par with even child murderers. Lesnar was one of those overpowered, overdominant, bullying types who got away with just about anything he wanted. With the allegations, _every_ aspect of his life is now under the microscope, including his relationship with Sable. He was an interruption to whatever creative good might have been allowed to shine. And now he's in the hatch with Vince. I don't think we need to talk about him anymore, do you?

I think Brock is rated just fine.
Most people acknowledge that he was an absolutely phenomenal athlete but who was pretty lazy and tended to coast with the same match formula over and over.
But that's all irrelevant because he's a piece of trash.

I put Brock in the Triple H category in that he had some surprisingly great matches, but many more moments and matches that were a chore to sit through.
He's like a band that has recorded some of your favorite songs you've ever heard, but when you go deep into their library, you can't find much else you like.

Brock's first run and body of work is really, really good. His second, eh, the highs were great, but when he left his working boots in the locker room the lows were a chore to watch.

Brock actively participated in Vince McMahon's crimes.
I guess one could argue that Vince had a hand in grooming Brock into the man who did so, as Brock was very young when he entered WWE, but he also has bragged about what a grotesque person he was as a child, so that excuse can only go so far.
Paul Heyman's opinion on the fictional wrestling character, shouldn't be discussed anywhere but an episode of Dark Side of the Ring, and only for the sake of context.

Brock's obviously one of the most gifted athletes to ever do this, but I feel he's closer to being overrated than underrated. Too many half assed performances IMO.

Brock had a ton of raw talent, but there a ton of guys I'd much rather watch matches of than him. His Suplex City era was a f***ing drag.
