I want to say 20, on paper that’s the best ending but I think 40 comes close and would be better on hindsight

Bryan winning is one of the last times I truly marked out in wrestling, so that.

Bryan winning is one of the last times I truly marked out in wrestling, so that. love Cody's win and moment, but yeah I was marking like little kid when Bryan one. I was a 25 year old running crying doing yes chants in the living room

I've not seen 30, but the total chaos that was last night is just brilliant. I do wonder if Cody was happy with such shenanigans.. but as a spectacle, just brilliant.

10 still feels like the blueprint for me. It covers so much of what make/made 20/30/40 work - fixing the wrong finish from the previous year (9/39), the hope (real or not) of a changing of the guard and a new era (all of them but especially 30/40), the guy you wanted finally getting his shot (arguably all of them), the hero having to go through an ordeal of some kind as part of the Wrestlemania matches themselves (30/40).
I just put 10 first because it does all of those, but then also gives you the biggest hook for what's next by having that shot of Owen away from the celebration, unable to cheer for his own brother, an incredible promise of things to come, just the ideal version of Wrestlemania as a season finale. Arguably, 30 felt like it could/should have been a SERIES finale, so I don't blame anyone for picking that, either.

10 felt like a big step down from the Golden era. 20 feels tainted now. I watched the rest of Wrestlemania 30 in a dazed stupor after the streak was broken. I guess I'll vote 40. I wanted the downer ending of Roman winning, but all the shenanigans really did hit the right story beats. Everyone had their rival and the galaxy finally came together to stop The Reapers...I mean the Bloodline.

30 was great, but 40 feeling like essentially the series finale of the "old" era of WWE just felt monumental.

Still 30 for me because Bryan is my favorite wrestler ever. 40 comes close though.

Ten years before any of these happened:
1: Bret was in Stampede
2: Benoit and Eddie were nearly in ECW
3: Bryan was in ROH
4: Cody was Stardust

40, 30, 10................. 20
20 would actually be my pick had Benoit not done what he did.

Bryan doing what he did when Vince was in charge seems like a bigger accomplishment. Cody had the fortune of getting his moment post Vince so it was done to perfection (well near perfection, Austin should have Stunned Rock) rather than sabotaged. Either way I think 30 and 40, in whatever order, is the answer here. Benoit is not talked about anymore with good reason, and Bret won because Yoko slipped on something.

20 was mine at the time since i was a little kid but 40 comes so close as a full blown adult that i have to vote for it. to be that jaded of a wrestling fan and get that emotional over all of it... never thought i'd see the day.

I still went for 20, but it's completely ruined now obviously.

WM30 for me is forever be overshadowed with Warrior dropping dead a couple of days later.
WM40 felt different and more epic than ever before.
