I work on Saturday and Sunday nights. This year, I was able to get Sat off, but not Sunday off. I had people over to watch Night One of WM on Sat night live. I told them I worked Sunday night, but could host Night 2 on Monday.
I deleted social media off my phone , and did not visit YouTube or any wrestling sites all of Sunday night- Monday night, and I still had a thing or two spoiled for me. A few friends knew a thing or two as well.
Have you ever had to miss a show, and went to desperate lengths to avoid spoilers?

I used to be able to do it fine back in the 90's and early 2000's.
Nowadays it's very difficult, especially if you sign up for WWE Shop's email list or social media.
You can have the results spoiled just by tuning into the news or watching NBC's today show.

Basically just avoid anything to do with the internet.
I also try not to use my phone much.

Mostly by watching promotions that nobody else cares about.
Watch anything big from AEW ASAP the next day and avoid going online beforehand.
Scroll past anything wrestling related on tiktok asap, unless it's Mr Blobby in riot caberet then I have to stop and watch.

I don’t have Twitter, so gotta avoid coming in here and YouTube.
I do have a fan who’s really into it, so I gotta mute him and wrestling podcasts I follow on Facebook and Instagram

I got a email telling me to buy Cody Rhodes championship merch as soon as mania ended. Seriously you just need to turn your phone off at this point.

It sounds impossible, but just stay away from your phone/Internet for 20 minutes.

Mostly by watching promotions that nobody else cares about. That is one of the advantages of only watching local indies,ROH and TNA. See so few spoilers. Like Supercard of Honor i got the first half watcheed. Might finish it tonight. So far only thing that got spoiled is who wins the Womens World title match. Dude ina group chat had been warned to not spoil Supercard. Yesterday posted something about the winner doing an interview. Next show might bribe REDACTED to put this dude as security over by Ms Gloria.

I don't care.
I can't avoid them, they're everywhere. So I don't care. It doesn't matter if I know who wins, who shows up, who the killer was, what happens when the Ark of the Covenant is opened, who Keyser Soze was, if he was dead the whole time, it doesn't matter.
When I sit down to watch something, I block out everything I've heard before and let the thing I'm watching tell me it's story.
If it's good, it'll catch me.

Stay away from social media, stay off Youtube, sequester myself in a section of the internet where I know spoilers won't show up. Or just detach completely for a while. I can't remember the last time I was accidentally spoiled on anything regarding TNA. Spoilers are out there, yes, but I have to be actively looking to find them.

It's easier now with WWE PLE's being on Saturdays as it means I can watch them when I wake up the next day rather than spending a day at work trying to avoid them when they were on Sundays.
Last year WrestleMania Night 2 was spoiled for me by an email from WWE Shop, this year I turned off email notifications and then took Monday off to watch it.
I also have to tell my brother not to tell me anything as he decided to spoil CM Punk's return for me before I had watched Survivor Series.

With great difficulty, including WWEs own app launch page (which I'm using to watch the show) spoiling results of recent PLEs, thankfully this was not the case for Wrestlemania.

And I never seen spoilers for UWN or Memphis. ROH lol I am guessing I am one of maybe 10 people in my state that has Honor Club. When I did watch WWF/WWE if I didnt see a PPV live it wasn't hard to avoid spoilers.

I just avoid the relevant forums here and pop culture sites like Bleedingcool whose horrendous coverage of wrestling always have spoilers in the titles of the nosebleedingly crappy articles.

Most important shows are live now. Spoilers are becoming obsolete.

If I miss something and I feel it's so important I don't want anything spoiled for me, I will make sure I don't look at anything that might risk exposing me to it. That includes websites, social media, and anything adjacent that might risk giving something away.
Honestly, it's not that hard and just requires a little self control. Though it's always funny whenever I see people come onto a wrestling forum, knowing they're behind on things, and then have the gall whine about something being "spoiled: as if everyone else should wait for them to catch up before openly discussing results/shows that have already happened. What do these people expect?

Generally I don't. If I'm not watching live and I stumble across something, so be it. It's just an accepted part of reality
