Remember when Roddy and the Kingdom were actually getting over as goofy comedy heels before all this UK nonsense? I miss that.

For all the haters Kyle was putting on some great matches before the injury

Remember when they brought in Bobby Fish and he had matches every show for like three weeks straight... as long as we don't go back to that just get this over as quickly as possible.

For all the haters Kyle was putting on some great matches before the injury Kyle is great. It's why I want him to just beat Roddy so he can move on from the UK and have some banger defenses.

For all the haters Kyle was putting on some great matches before the injury Oh objectively speaking Kyle's a great technician but he's like an anti-draw for me as a singles guy. He and Bobby Fish are two sides of the same coin, which is probably why reDRagon worked so well as a team.

Kyle O'Reilly is weird enough to me to be interesting personality-wise. I'm hoping he wins on Sunday and then defends the International title like the murderhobo I know he can be.

They were starting to get cheers that if they continued with Neck Strong then they wouldve been capable of turning the crowd on the likes of the Acclaimed.

It ended the moment he kicked out of the GTS which angered Punk.

I can only speak for aew but redragon and Adam cole were the most miserable experience as a regular watcher

Kind of wonder if TK/Creative is realizing "Yeah UK doesn't work if you can't have Adam Cole there every week able to bump"

Kyle O'Reilly is this wrestler where like...I simultaneously see the potential in him as a main event talent, and absolutely cannot see him as one.
He's a fantastic technical wrestler, but not in the way that's immediately mind-blowing. He just kind of does everything very well and I couldn't name a single move of his off the top of my head.
He's not exactly a big character, but he's so idiosyncratic as a low-key guy that it sort of makes him more memorable than if he were louder and more traditionally defined.
He's got this weird charisma where he can look incredibly threatening or downright cuddly while still feeling like just a dude.
He's sort of an 8/10 in every category but like, distinctively enough in every way that he breaks the scale without feeling like an obvious star.

Kyle is like, too weird and standout to be a good hand but not quite enough to be known for being weird and a standout.

It's like there are eight categories and he's an 8 in all of them but somehow two extra categories get inexplicably counted in figuring out the average so he's really a 6.4.

They might as well get to it and, hopefully, give it to Kyle because I think the belt works better as a "fighting champion" face title that just needs transition reigns from heels (with Miro's reign as the exception because of the job it did building him as a monster).

To put it bluntly, it's a cold feud, that's why.
Roddy is a competent wrestler, but that means jack shit with AEW's roster. On top of that, the only time he was remotely interesting was doing the "neck strong" routine.
Kyle is a great wrestler who has some of my favorite selling and facial expressions, but he's also got an uphill battle promo wise and his charisma doesn't exactly beat you over the head.
In the end, best to just get to the end of the road ASAP

Kind of wonder if TK/Creative is realizing "Yeah UK doesn't work if you can't have Adam Cole there every week able to bump" I 100% think that's what it is, and Corporate Bucks forming a new Evil Elite is Tony breaking the glass in case of emergency to have a heel stable that actually works.

Miro never had the International title.

I'll be honest with you, Face Kyle is incredibly bland to me.
He also dresses like a 1998 job geek.

Roddy realized that Kyle WASN'T wearing a Snoopy hat this whole time and something in him just snapped
