I myself just read a bits of this match, ' sounds like epic fight. I'll check it out tomorrow (as I'm too invested in tonight's Women's Battle Royale to watch anything else...), ' would love to hear from others in advance.

I think they may have even overdelivered a little. f***ing insane. Danielson's the GOAT, I'm convinced, and Bruv is every bit as great as people say he is.

somehow they beat expectations and probably didn’t beat the Takeshita match. people’s wrestling ratings are gonna be all f***ed up for the next 20 years cause bruvman is so far ahead of people in natural talent, it’s kinda trippy.
feels a lot like when Steph Curry really starting getting going with the shooting after the ankle injuries or dumbass Aroldis Chapman was launching 102-103 fastballs. the scale is gonna have to be altered, especially if some of these matches get extra care to develop.

Yeah, it did and then some
These two are some of the best to ever do it since the year 2000 onward especially. Danielson setting a bar and constantly meeting and even raising it is insane, but Will's just gonna be a megastar at this rate. Don't envy when he has a heel run and has to get people to boo him lol

Ospreay is a superstar and one in which will start making a difference in ticket sales for AEW. He is a can’t miss type of attraction.

Exceeded those expectations somehow.

Personally, they exceeded my expectations by a fair bit. I was expecting a MOTY contender, but this might be one of Bryan's best matches ever, and he's had a lot of really good ones.

I thought it was excellent. I don't know if I really liked the ending, though.

Agreed. I was expecting the match to fall short of expectations, but it delivered for me. I really enjoyed it, but it was not on the level of the Takeshita match.

I had really high hopes and it somehow exceeded them. I think Will might be my new favourite wrestler. He's been incredible so far

It allowed Alvarez to work up Xwitter and the subreddit of a certain curmudgeon so it overdelivered for me.

Dave Meltzer said "If you see one match this good in your life as a wrestling fan, you should consider yourself blessed."
I'd insert his tweet but it starts with a spoiler.

Definitely met them, and it reaffirms my belief that Ospreay is their next Ace.
People were saying he's a main event level guy, but won't ever be THE guy. Nah.
The crowd loves him, he delivers every match he's in, and he's so damn good it annoys you have to have give him props for the stupid shit he's pulled in the past.
I didn't care for the ending if that was a work. I didn't like when Takeshita did the fetal position with curled hands in their match either. If it was legit, I hope it's nothing serious for Dragon.

I think it would be better if it ended with them doing that joust spot. Bryan please stop selling medical emergencies when you've previously had an actual brain injury.

I would have paid extra for the match before hand…
Afterward I feel like I owe Tony, Will & Bryan more money.
f*** that was so good

Classic match as expected.
Danielson did scare me by the end, though.

Match was worth the $50 I paid and then some. Just amazing pro wrestling from two guys at the top of their game.

Was Danielson really hurt at the end or was he selling? If he was selling that was damn good work.
