So we’ve got Jack Perry/Young Bucks/Okada for now and maaaaybe one more person.
This is clearly leading to an angle where somebody is gonna have to take control of the company, who do you think will be involved?
My choices are as follows!
Probably: Kenny/Hangman/FTR/another guy
Want: Kenny/Hangman/MCMG/Von Wagner

My gut says Perry takes the world title soonish in a big controversial shock and Swerve probably chases back to beat him so Swerve's still the main babyface right now.
Then the E&C stan in me says Christian and Copeland reunite to take on the Bucks.
IDK where guys like Kenny or Hangman fit into this but they can add intrigue whether they're allied with or against the new Elite.
If they play their cards right, they could do a nice build to a triumphant All In where the baddies get vanquished, but I could also see them taking their time and having this be a longer term angle, like the next couple months they build Perry to the main event level before he gets the belt.

Don Callis family members all turn on Don and go after the Elite. Probably not gonna happen but I think it'd be pretty cool.

For your picks...I don't think there's any way Kenny is near ready yet, so I'm pretty sure next week is a hometown angle to draw more heat onto them. I also think putting Hangman against them would be an absolutely massive mistake as he needs to be kept away from them for a while given they make him way less interesting than he is by himself and they need to finish the Swerve stuff.
So right now...Copeland, FTR, Garcia. Maybe throw Christian in there soon.

I feel like Eddie Kingston has to be one of the picks given he's hated Matt and Nick since this gimmick changeover and has beef with Okada too
PAC maybe? Depending on if he's done with Okada
FTR seem like an obvious choice but man MCMG have a deep history with the Bucks too...
Garcia would be a great idea to take Perry on

Hangman just turned heel. He returns and joins them stating that Tony Khan screwed him out of being champion by making it a three-way match then giving Swerve a one on one match with Joe but not him.

Bucks signing MCMG just so they can’t challenge them would be hilarious

MJF in an ironic twist of being the company's savior to help the guy he calls a "f***ing mark" against the Elite's tyranny.

Losing it quickly would, unintentionally, send a bad message.

I think if Jack challenges, he's not gonna win it I don't even know if Jack's really gonna be the challenger, I'd still go Christian

It's either already made guys (Jericho, Mox, Kenny, Punk, Joe) or guys they took a ton of time to develop at a main event level (Hangman, MJF, Swerve). I just don't see him doing this for Jack Perry or anybody really.

everyone is entitled to their opinions but it’s pretty silly to instantly shut down something as a possibility because that’s not how things have done before in a company after all of that tonight! food for thought!

I do think eventually, this belt will have a shorter reign, I don't exactly know when, but I could see Swerve holding the belt till the Fall That being said I could still totally see Swerve vs Perry as a PPV match, it all depends on how the angle goes and who they target, I feel like we saw a crop of talent they're likely gonna fight over the next week or two in Multi Man Matches (Infantry, Top Flight, Action, Daniels, Sydal, Komander Dark Order, Penta, etc) to establish dominance and put on some bangers in the process as well.

Danielson rematch where he wins or Ospreay but I think Ospreay is gonna Gunther the International title, he’s too good to really buy anyone beating him for a long time if sunday couldn’t do it
