Also Roman vs. Dean for the US Title being scheduled is f***ing crazy cause that means The Shield was probably going to break up during that angle where they were fighting amongst eachother and Dean Ambrose was wearing divorce jackets.

Hopefully in this universe Vince realizes what he had and let's Bray go over Cena instead of y'know ruining him. Wyatt beating Cena at Wrestlemania but losing the feud by dropping 2 Ls at future PPVs, because LOL Cena wins, would have helped everybody. It shouldn't have taken a dub over Cena at Wrestlemania 36 on top of a gimmick change to revitalize Wyatt's career. It took 6 years to get the result that would have been best for all parties from the start. |

I always thought Rollins being the one to break up the Shield after a couple of months of Reigns and Ambrose getting frustrated with each other was clever misdirection and it turns out it was all part of one of those Punk butterfly effects which he's still causing today. Rollins's career looks very different if he doesn't break up the Shield and join the Authority.
This actually isn't Philip's fault (for once) because his illness at the time was so severe he had little choice but to quit but I wouldn't be surprised if the HHH v Punk match had the same stipulation as the HHH v Bryan one and Punk would have gone over and gotten his Mania main event in the end. Orton v Batista was a match they had already done about half a dozen times on Raw and PPV in 2009, the fans would have shit all over it for that reason alone.

That US title match is the really crazy shit because it feels like if you don't have the Seth betrayal spot and the insane Shield vs. Evolution matches, you probably end up with a different trajectory of pretty much all of wrestling ten years later.
