I just watched the rifftrax for Daredevil (which is hilarious, BTW), and I was just struck by the fact that I didn't think it was that bad.
I mean, yes, it's not good by any stretch, but it wasn't completely terrible.
Sure, it has too much Affleck and Evanescence music, and it's weird that Daredevil basically gets beaten up by Electra, but I just wasn't left with the WTF feelings I had watching Fantastic Four or Batman and Robin.
Am I the only one?

There are probably more fans for the directors cut DVD but the theatrical release wasn't that bad.

Daredevil gets the crap beat out of him by both Bullseye and Elektra on multiple occassions in the comics so that didn't bother me quite so much. The pacing however is just way off on the theatrical cut, everything happened much too fast. Plus it's a weird seeing DD jump a hundred feet at a clip.

There's nothing wrong with Daredevil, and I haven't even seen the Director's Cut. There's TWO Evanescence songs, and unless you have their album or waited until the ballad was released as a single, you don't even notice it.
Also..."too much Affleck"?! WTF?! Ben Affleck is a good actor! Everyone just thinks of him as the friggin' guy on the cover of tabloids, they won't let him, actually ACT! I love the movie, and I love Affleck's performance in it. And, just before the credits, when DD refers to himself as "a Guardian Devil" in the voice-over, I get chills.

I thought it was pretty good just for the fact that it was close to the comic books. More so then most of the other movies I just remember Electra should have had all her bones broken.

Love the movie. The original cut or director's cut is a-ok in my mind. Sure, the Director's cut is a tad better. One of the finest comic adaptations into film to be produced. Mark Steven Johnson totally rocks and understand things. With DD, Simon Birch (not a comic film, but a great movie nonetheless) and the up coming Ghost Rider, the guy has a fantastic mind. And there's no such thing as enough Affleck, unless you want to count a few summers back where his face was on every tabloid, that was pretty sad. The cat is one of the finest actors currently going, and a bummer that the focus was on who he was dating rather than his wonderful acting chops.

I have TWO answers to this question: a.) Over Keanu Reeves? Any time! b.) See Hollywoodland. Affleck is a great actor. I might not like films Affleck has done, but I've never been disappointed with Affleck himself as an actor.

I've said it before, but I'll say it again:

While I have yet to see Hollywoodland (will once the dvd hits, it'll be a part of my Affleck collection), from what little clips and things I've seen, the guy certainly earned his stride back with it. But to be honest, I don't think I've ever been disappointed in any film Ben has been in. Well, maybe, Boiler Room, but that was more of a cameo type of thing.
