I hope not. Corey Taylor is like the exact opposite of good live.

I guess until they get a permanent lead singer he could work if they want to tour right now.... but with Stone Sour and a renewed interest in Slipknot... Corey would just be splitting his time even more if he stepped into place.
I'm still waving a banner for John Bush to kiss and make up with the rest of the 'Thrax.

For some reason, I was never all that big on Anthrax. I tried to like them, but I could just never get into 'em. Go fig.
Corey Taylor is a pretty nifty guy though.
Well, okay, I only like one album involving him, that being Vol. 3: The Subliminal Verses - Slipknot...but this is interesting news anyway.

Hes pretty good for the first quarter of a set (seen Slipknot live a couple times), once he starts getting winded he kinda looses it.

You gotta be kiddin me right? Joey f***ing Belladonna. Accept no substitutes. They brought in Bush in the early 90s when they tried to conform to the "alternative" trend and came out with that terrible song "Only". f*** Bush.

I liked Joey and John. Corey's just a fat guy in a Halloween mask whose "Look at me, I'm crazy and evil" gimmick was played out when Marilyn Manson was doing it and has a fanbase almost as annoying and psychotic as the Juggalos. No offense to any Maggots or Juggalos here. You're cool. I'm talking about the rest of them.

I always liked John Bush. Anthrax also made it's best video with him Inside Out.

Belladonna was okay in the 80's, but when Bush came in Anthrax got even better IMO, and Belladonna coming back to the band a few years ago was just an aural travesty, I'm glad he didn't last long. I hope Bush reconciles with the band, "We've Come For You All" was just so freakin' good...

Hey, don't get me wrong.... I like Belladonna as well.... basically it's to a point where comparing Belladonna-era Anthrax to John Bush Anthrax is like comparing two completely different bands. Bush sounds like crap singing Joey songs... and Joey would sound like crap singing Bush songs.
But I got into Anthrax pretty late.... it was honestly on a whim that I picked up "Return Of The Killer A's" and as I listened to it... I immediately loved the Bush songs. Joey's songs grew on me in time... but it was Bush that got me really into the band.
Plus, Belladonna just had yet another god damn falling out with the band... so when looking for options for a new studio album, you gotta look at the actual possibilities. John Bush is definitely a possibility, though a slight one.
... although, if they really wanna f*** with the fans. Have a secret makeup session and have Billy Milano do vocals. I don't know about you, but I'd love to hear "Caught In A Mosh" and "The Ballad Of Kurt Cobain" in the same show.

I like Bush and Belladonna. I've been a fan of Anthrax off and on since I was 10 (I'm 23 now).
Anyway, I don't mind Corey Taylor. He's far more than just a "halloween mask gimmick singer" as Stone Sour and Slipknot's 3rd album proves. I'd be interested to hear an Anthrax album with him on vocals.

Though I didn't really dig Stone Sour...but Vol. 3 was awesome.
