I have no idea if this deserves its own thread, but apparently my friends filmed me singing at karaoke last time...so here I am, singin' "Johnny B. Goode" at karaoke last Friday. They made me laugh a couple of times, but other than that, I'm just amazed they put it up there. Go me! www.youtube.com/watch?v=TAFKLQ1WoQMThere's the link.

I am very visible in a video of an indy match with Scott Steiner. But congratulations, OMG, at least you are the spotlight of your video.

Not bad. Learning the words might help though. ;D Yeah, I screwed up a bit on a few of the words There's one part that always gets me, and I'm not sure why, but I can never get the timing right. Plus, everyone was making me laugh. And I was sick that day. But yeah, the one part always screws me up.

Well, it's a hard song to really sell seriously after it was in Back to the Future and everything. You did well with it, especially under the circumstances.

That's half the reason I love that song so much. I grew up on BTTF, and I got addicted to Chuck Berry through it. It's also why I like Huey Lewis & The News.

Me too! Also because I saw Huey Lewis at the Michigan Fest when it was still around. It was a local musical festival where they would bring in some big touring acts and have it outdoors, but they don't do it anymore for some reason. One year Little Richard played there and offended a bunch of poeple because he made some comment about Mexicans.

I'm not sure why Little Richard making comments about Mexicans amuses me, but the sheer ridiculousness of it does. I guess it's because I picture him saying it like "MASHED POTATOES, GRAVY, AND CUH-RANBERRY SAUCE! WOOOOHOOOOO" ...yeah. But anyway, that's wicked awesome. I wish stuff like that would come around here, but my town is entirely too small.
