If anyone's watching Fox News, about half of Findlay flooded this morning. Clean up could take days and repairs could take months.
They just mentioned on the news that two people were helping someone out of their car when they were swept away in water.

Man that sucks. Over here in Pa i was shocked that my basement didn't get flooded because it rained for like 2 days straight

Yeah, we've been getting pounded in Iowa too.
Not THAT bad, but it could potentially get that way, as the rain isn't looking to be letting up until Friday at the latest.

I guess a lot of Mansfield is flooded, too. I hear numbers like "16 feet" being thrown around, but I don't know how accurate that is. I must live on the lucky side, as the downtown area got its ass kicked. I live basically directly outside downtown. There are some insane pictures of the tippity-tops of cars sticking out of the water, but they're being jerks and won't show up here. PS - It's thundering right now. AND I get to go to work.  |
