The more Freddy, Michael or Jason, the better. Jason deserve one good movie, not just another. Jason franchise deserve one good movie in it. They're all bad. Every one of em even the original.

I'd make the next Jason movie involve a of Time Warp of some kind and have Potato Sack Jason team up with Hockey Mask Jason and Zombie Jason, it practically writes itself.

I don't "keep watching them"..I watched em once and that was it. They sucked. There was not scary except maybe for little kids.
When I don't like something but they are significant, I do not just pretend its not there I try to read it/watch it try to understand what it's trying to do.
Friday 13th original was best of the bunch. But it was still a pile of s***.
First in your post you criticize me for watching em. Then you criticize me for not watching em. What am I supposed to do?

I don't "keep watching them"..I watched em once and that was it. They sucked. There was not scary except maybe for little kids. And there goes my point, racing by. By "keep watching them", I don't mean "continue to watch the same movies". I mean, if one of them sucked, why did you watch another ... and another ... and another ... why did you keep coming back to the franchise if the movies kept sucking? No, I questioned your opinion of them and the validity of said opinion based on whether or not you'd viewed the ENTIRE series, or were basing the ENTIRE series of movies' quality based on the viewing of a limited number of films. If you've watched all of them, fine; your opinion is valid. For YOU and you alone. If you've only seen a few, but are judging them all, your opinion is invalid. Either way, I don't really care. I like 'em. Jed Shaffer ~Except Jason Goes To Hell. Man, did that eat it hard.

All of the Friday movies were awesome. Probably my favorite is either the first one or Jason Goes to Hell, but would a new Jason movie or remake hurt the franchise? Half of the Friday movies are bad, and that's why we love them. We're not exactly talking about The Godfather here.
Chill out and judge it when it comes out anyways. If it sucks then complain. God, can we go one day on these forums without whining about remakes?

We as children of the 80's are running out of things that are unique to our youth without being redone... just let us keep what LITTLE we have left about our childhoods.

So far from what I have seen in the trailers concerning the new Halloween, it actually looks pretty good I'm just thankful someone like Rob Zombie is remaking it rather than watch another, boring, dull, and just plain smurfed up sequel. This applies to like the last 2 Halloween films, that series is so messed up its not even funny. Halloween 1 and 2 is classic, 4 was ok but it just went downhill from 5 onwards.

I eat up anything involving Jason. If anything, he makes me laugh more than scared. Awesome.

Everything about this remake can eat my ass. I remember a time last summer when they planned to release this very movie by that October, and, at that point, it wasn't even WRITTEN yet. It doesn't make me happy in the slightest that a group of morons is in charge of what is, in my opinion, the one film that should be absolutely exempt from being remade. Meh you're from the same class of "everything we grew up with is better then it is now". Nothing we can do over it cept for sit on our porches and complain about the kids and discuss how much better our ninja turtle toys are then their ipods and myspaces. ...*mumble mumble* and keep off the grass. Friday the 13th was made seven years before I was born and I feel the exact same way. I'm actually younger than you are, so perhaps yours isn't the greatest argument in the history of arguments.

Ah, Hollywood ain't all that bad, The Mist is coming out in November. Starring Thomas Jane and directed by Frank Darabont, I'm there baby. I though the sing said the Food Mart for a second. Anyway that film is also based on a Stephen King short story. The story is a man and is boy go down the food jobber after a big storm to get supplies but while in there a thick fog covers the place. Did I say monsters live in the fog and attack anyone that dares leave the food place? so basically it's like Dawn Of The Dead a bunch of people trapped in a shop and can't leave unless they want to torn apart.

What I'm wondering, is after remakes, what happens next? Remakes of remakes?

It's supposedly going to involve "elements" of Friday the 13th 1-4.
I think they should throw in Part V as well, and continue on with the Tommy Jarvis story whether Feldman does it or not.

I thought this was about the 10 Commandments remake i heard was happening. It was on G4, it's CGI and I think it was Christian Slater as the voice for Moses. As far as this goes, how much worse can it get, we already had Jason X.
