Having to pay $3 for a book that, sometimes, does less with the story than what a $1 book did 20 years ago.

I actually like comics collected in TPB form. It makes the stories flow more easily, and especially in the case of mega-events like DC's INFINITE CRISIS and 52, it's just more economical, and not to mention easier to keep track of the action. Yeah, but what if I come into such an epic storyline, issue #4 of say 10 issues. The story is already in depth with its complex story, and I think: "why is this even out on newsstands? Why not just release this sucker on book without the serialized nonsense?" Comics at a newsstand? How old are you?

They're just pictures on a page. I can't get into it. Books are different as I can imagine everything myself and create my own vision of it. Comics are just laid out for you. I can't get excited by still pictures.

What annoys me is a lack of Mysterio in comics!
He should be appearing everywhere, disrupting everyone's plans with wacky illusions and carefully plotted phoney scenarios!
All hail the man with a Goldfish bowl on his head!!
*Cloud of Smoke!*

Kevin Smith did it in DAREDEVIL. For real. He's dead.

Many bad guys who put far less effort in have more success than he but god bless him, he keeps plugging away.

Since I've stayed away from anything Marvel related for quite some time, has Jean Grey finally stayed dead, or did she rise from the grave for the umpteenth billionth time?

To be honest I haven't really kept up on Jean Grey's history (Never been too interested in her) I think the phoenix force is kept inside the Stepford Cuckoos diamond hearts or something at the moment. (It's all rather complicated, I suggest Wikipedia for a full background)

Pretty good book, at that. Why they declared his script "unfilmable" for Robo 2 is beyond me. It would have made a far better flick than the turd Orion put out.

It looks like his head is hollow. Although I hear he was sent back by Mephisto so anything could happen really. Even if he does end up disappearing again there are two other Mysterio's (One of them even has an actual power)
