Because WrestleCrap is awesome, and I love the people here.
Plus, being the egomaniac I am, I wanted everyone to share in my knowledge and wisdom.

I became a writer on the main site, and I figured it'd be intelligent to hit the forums of the site I was gonna write for. Plus, the last site I wrote for ... the forums there ... ultra-drama. I needed an antidote, a place where the forums were well run without the BS. Tah-dah. Jed Shaffer ~You should all be thankful I slum it with you schlubs.

I saw the banner of WrestleCrap's book on another wrestling-related site, while I was looking for a list of title holders (to catch up with WWE...) back in 2003.
I read some of the inductions and thought it was weird because I disagreed with some of them, and I had no idea about many others.
I didn't notice the forum at first, then I took a look, it was still the old forum, and I just decided to join, as I was beginning to watch WWE on a semi-regular basis. But I wasn't really planning on posting much.
Usually my stay on forums is quite short and not too wordy... I tend to get bored by the annoying "thought control" that the dominant cliqs usually impose on the forum.
Luckly it doesn't happen here, and I've found a nice environment, so I've celebrated my 3rd year of WrestleCrappiness

I lurked the boards for nearly a year after I had been jaded from past communities and decided this was one worth joining.

PaPa sWEED, SpankyPac and s l i k ( + obligatory Godz reference too) posts stood out when I lurked. One day, I decided to register and join the mayhem! Then I made lots more funny (as in humorous) friends.

I remember exactly. Firstly, I read a review of "Death of WCW" in PWI. I mentioned the "hilarious Wrestlecrap.com website" & I decided to check it out. After a while I began looking at the forums. Then, one day, I discovered I was banned. Bear in mind this was before I even registered! As has been explained before, if a troll gets banned sometimes it hits another member with a similar IP address. This was obviously the case in this instance. I thought maybe I wasn't allowed to view the site because I wasn't a member, so I signed up & I've been here since. People eventually learned to look beyond the Fat Chick sigs & realize that I occassionally (but rarely) make salient &/or witty posts.

Wow, I had no idea wrestlecrap had been mentioned in PWI That was the first (& last) I saw it mentioned. They may have done a review of the first Wrestlecrap book when it came out & I missed it. Same with the most recent book. I believe that "Death of WCW" got five suplexes out of five.

I don't remember why I registered, but I used to lurk during the EZboard days. When I registered here, I only started posting 6 months after I registered

But I did, and here I am.

it was the late 90s early 2000's I was looking to see if John Tenta was infact Golga. That's how I found the site. I can't remember what question I asked but I know I joined the forum to ask something.
