Don't remember what made me go to the forum...boredom I think.
I only dabbled in certain sections for a while and then the Off-Topic section hooked me.
EWT sealed the deal 100%.

I think it popped up on the old wwfwrestlinggames.com site, read it, and laughed my ass off, but never registered for the forums. Then it stopped updating for a while, I went back to what was now gamingring, and came back and joined the board when GR went down for a while.

I'm just feeling a little curious as to what made you want to post here. I was with the OFFICIAL wrestlecrap board since RD first announced it on the Wrestlecrap website. I did, however, ask a moderator (Double D Dudley) to terminate my profile, for various reasons. So I stopped posting at the Wrestlecrap board for at least a year and a half, but signed back up because I was inspired by the various manias that were rampant at the WC boards during that time (Lex Luger, Dennis Stamp, Konga Dave, etc).

I can't pinpoint what exactly made me join...other than it seemed like everybody on here was having fun.
I've been a member of other forums and mailing lists and whatnot. But it seemed that everybody here gets along just fine, even if there are some disagreements here or there - that's always going to happen - but it seemed like the disagreements didn't get too out of control or whatnot to the point of actual death threats or "I SO HAXXORED UR MOM'S @$$ LAST NITE" or anything like that (or however you kids speak with your internet lingo). This whole forum seems like one big family.
And that's what drew me here.

I had heard about WrestleCrap on various other sites around the net. I bought the WrestleCrap book and loved it. Nearly pissed my pants at some of RD's descriptions. Notably, his description of the Sting/Sid match at Halloween Havoc and his comment about Sting (Barry Windham) collapsing in the ring due to his sudden change in physiology (I'm laughing right now typing it out). I checked out the site after reading the book, but couldn't register on the old board for some reason. When a new board came, I register.
I've been ignored ever since.

Wrestlecrap was one of my favorite vestiges on the net back in the heyday of the late 90's wrestling boom. In fact, I used to frequent Wrestlcrap, Xavier Doom's Slayground (a lost gem, only remembered by a few anymore these days), DDTDigest, and ironically enough, Scoops (and the subsequent parody ScoopTHIS! Anyone who has ever read the SuCasa reports will remember what a comic goldmine that shit was.)
Anyways, when WC first built their EZBoard, since I was already a member, it seemed like a natural fit. I just followed the herd when they dumped EZboard for their own proboard.
I don't post at any other wrestling boards. I used to hang around a few of them, most notably Kayfabe Memories, but that was a looooong time ago.
The feel here is just a bit more lighthearted, and it feels more like "home" to me these days, even though I go through spurts where I don't post as much as I could.

I joined because I had gotten fed up with the Raw Is War thread over at IMDB. I wanted to go somewhere and actually "talk" wrestling, not filter through 5 pages of flaming and trolling, and Cena hater threads. Nobody over there talks about the good old days, only the now, and the now blows donky balls through a hoola hoop.

I registered to add myself to the list of WC Radio listeners. I had never even seen a message board before. Since then I have made some really good friends who made what could have been a very difficult time in my life, very painless and uplifting. Thanks everyone.

I'd been reading the site for a while, then started reading the forums, then registered. Much to everyone's dismay. This is also my first ever forum.

I'd been visiting the place for a while before I ever joined the forums. I'm pretty much doing now what I did then...lurk.
