Do you like the time you live in?
I kinda think it woulda grown up as a kid (1-10) in the 80s and then from (10-20) in the 90s. I dont like, say thats absolutely what I wanna do, but I defiantly would consider it if I could.
I pretty much like the time I grew up in. Hey, movies and TV may not be as good, but the thing that everyone seems to forget is that you can still play and watch all that stuff out in the 80s. Like hypothetical (I know this aint really that important, just an example) : why would you ever wanna go back to the 80s to play NES when it came out? I mean not only is the stuff out now way better (and please no one say Im some kid who just believes whats put in front of him cause I like the new stuff, the games, graphics, stories, everythings better), and you can STILL play the NES and stuff like that.
But yeah I think this is the perfect time for me besides maybe really growing up in the 90s. Some places I would hate to grow up, like the 50s when everyone was so ignorant and racist and gullible and stuff like that. From what I read people back then really tried way to be hard to meet a standard that some dumb asses they dont even know set.
And yeah, sorry Im a small (but lots of) luxury guy. What I mean by that is, I dont care about huge luxuries, just enough to make me comfortable. Little things like a freezer. I couldnt imagine living in 1885. Just a primitive standard of living, and theres like DIRT everywhere. Course Im going on Back to the Future 3 now so, meh. But god damn the SAND IS EVERYWHERE.
I mean its just little stuff. A/C. I hate when it breaks down, couldnt imagine not having it. Things like cars, you can make a 30 minute trip that would take so long with horses.
Its just crazy. Its amazing how different things were a 100 years ago. Even more when you think about how a 100 years before that in 1785, it really wasnt all that different then 1885. Now look how different it is. Look have much more bigger technology we got here in 2007 then we had in 95. The world just goes SO fast these days. I know every generation says "oh in 10-20 years were gonna have all this amazing sci fi stuff", but for real, I think we will. I mean god damn just on Attack of The Show the other day I saw some sunglasses that had screens in them, when you put them on, the screen looked like it would be if it was 48 inches. Thats some BTTF 2. Only actually futuristic looking, and not "80s trying to look futuristic by making stuff shiny" futurisitic.
One thing we wont never have is flying cars though. I mean we will have them, but the public wont ever have them and it be like a regular thing. Especially after 9/11. Theres just too much at risk elevatated for SO many people. The risks just not worth and and the government will realize that. Theres a reason you have to be a pilot to be able to fly legally.
Anyway, didnt mean for this to talk about all these different subjects. But thats cool. As long as yall reply to whats interesting...
