I see it about on par with most all "scary" or "thriller" movies from the last decade (Saw comes to mind...). They're all terrible to me.

I hate the Ring and the Grudge and that one with Halle Berry and all those movies that came out around that time.

Ringu is the only movie that I've ever turned off in an act of fear.

Has any remake of a Japanese horror movie ever been half way decent? I nearly pooed myself when I saw The Grudge at the cinema.

An evil tape makes more sense than an evil piñata. Was this an actual movie? Pinata: Survival Island. Available in the 5 dollar bin at Wal-Mart. And occasionally shown on AMC.

The Ring kicked ass.....The Ring Two however is another story....Ring Three won't be much better.
The original Ring was great.
