I want "Mysterio" After the downbeat 1 - 3, i'd like to have a lighthearted Spider-man movie. I got a better idea. Lets add neon lights, man tits, alot of pink, and the superhero car drives up on walls.... That'll be awesome! ;D We can dig up Alicia Silverstone to play Black Cat! Every line Spider-Man says will have "web" in it for a delicious pun! We'll get Triple H to play Kraven the Hunter, who's nothing more than a henchman for Madame Webb, played by Cameron Diaz, whose backstory takes up 20% of the movie's run-time!

Besides, SPIDERMAN 2 had a happy ending...I guess.

Surely that was half of the point? I think it was. Hell, The Incredibles does a better job at doing the Fantastic Four than both of the Fantastic Four movies do!

That was a good storyline at the time, I guess, but EASILY my least favorite superhero gimmick in comics and movies.

But he's not always miserable in other stuff i've seen him in, even Batman has more joy in him than Parker in the movies. Oh and stop with the damn "Villain finds redemption" at the end of each movie, it's boring.

Transformers. Too long, too unfunny, characters weren't developed well, and the humans are too stupid in it. Maybe so, but surely you felt something something the first time Peter Cullen's voice boomed, "My name is Optimus Prime...."

I liked Spider-man 3. I went in with low expectations and found myself pleasantly surprised. but you can almost taste the contempt that Raimi had for Venom, whose easily Spider-man's most overrated enemy (though I DO like him, at least the Eddie Brock incarnation). it woulda been much better without Venom. oh well, now that he's out of the way Raimi can go back to using villains he actually wants to.
Fantastic Four 2 was f***ing awful. that's not even debatable. I don't know who Julain Mcmahon was playing, but it sure as hell wasn't Dr. Doom.
and Grindhouse was 50/50. the trailers were awesome, Planet Terror was some good cheesy fun, but Death Proof is evidence that Tarantino's f***ing lost it. that wasn't a Grindhouse film, it was a bad Tarantino film using bad special effects to hide the fact that it was just a bad Tarantino film.

Surely that was half of the point? Eh. I guess. I will agree that it was 100x better than Cars or the most recent release. They've just become so cliche. New guy comes around and falls in love with the hot single girl/car. He must overcome the odds, including an old grouch set in his ways. Thats pretty much the synopsis for the last two Disney/Pixar films, and because of the success of those two, I'm sure they'll just keep on transferring that same script to a different set of animals/robots/people. I mean, thats why I love Toy Story, and Finding Nemo, and why the Incredibles is still a ton better than the last 2 movies. Because they were different than those two. Toy Story was about Friendship. Nemo was a father and son/coming of age story. The Incredibles was about family. Ever since Disney bought out Pixar, its gone down hill. Most of the Pixar films have the same plot "Some one gets lost/kidnapped, wacky adventures follows" actually I think all of them do. You can add to each of them though. Ratatouille is about finding your way in life and acceptance from your friends and family. Cars is about me not wanting to watch anything with Larry the Cable Guy Monsters Inc is about not judging people by how they look. Yada yada.

The nostalgia kick was the only thing about Transformers that I really enjoyed. Though hearing Cullen's voice say that line again did make my inner 8 year old giddy.

I loved Spider-Man 3. And I understand what you people are saying about it being fill with too much stuff, but it's like it's filled with too much GOOD stuff. Like instead of it being ten pounds of shit in a five-pound bag, it's like ten pounds of candy in a five-pound bag.

I thought ATHF Colon was crappy. I think it's a good show...but seriously out of that 2 hour movie only a total for 5 minutes was actually funny.
