Impact on Thursday night scored a 1.0 cable rating, based on data compiled by Nielsen Media Research.

I do believe that it went down...

They need 2 hours.
Christian as champ has been nothing but gold. They need to change something.

Steady but still no bump in the prime time slot. I gotta say I'm befuddled.

Steady but still no bump in the prime time slot. I gotta say I'm befuddled. well, look at what they were at last year from the same time period January 7 - 0.9 January 14 - 0.8 January 21 - 0.9 January 28 - 1.1 February 4 - 0.7 February 11 - 0.8 February 18 - 0.7 February 25 - 0.9 March 4 - 0.7 March 11 - 0.7 March 18 - 0.9 March 25 - 0.9 Seems like they tacked on something like 150,000 new regular viewer after going to primetime, it's something.

These bumps in ratings from last year are also likely do to nielson making strides in getting more college dorms counted. That's wrestling's demo right there.

I know that Feb. 15 was when "Raw came to town" but I can't remember anything for the January day. Was their some sort of sport on? ... Am I going to feel stupid for asking this?

Excellent point erisis, and something good for us to remember. Just maintaining ratings in a higher viewing slot adds viewers. The rating itself is just like a percentage--20% of a basketball is a lot more than 20% of a baseball.

The quality went up (i actually liked the last Impact) but the rating went down? Logic must not apply to TNA very well. I hope this doesn't discourage them from the "teams" angle, finally they're coming up with something that's consistently interesting.

The IWC makes up a small portion of the overall audiance. The numbers don't lie Imact has gotten more viewers in the last year. If this keeps up maybe they'll be doing 2's by 2009.
Once again allow me to indulge myself as a TNA mark; that said to all the TNA detractors in here who post things that suggest TNA is about to go under...NANANa booBoo!
