Like for the most part make him a lovable idiot until he gets really mad.
Have him fume and huff and puff, then be like
SNOT FACE
and clothesline the bitch out of there boots.

He is boring and he isn't as powerful as I thought he was when I first saw him on his debut.

Lashley is another steroid-freak that Vince slobbered over when he signed him.
Then again, ECW won't be around in a year.

Lashley could be over with training, they are just rushing the guy. He could be pushed as a monster, it's just no one seems to want to tell him what to do, or help him along.
I think Umaga and him will change a few minds about how devastating he can be, as I bet they tear down the house Sunday, also I don't think he's a steroid freak at all, he has the Goldberg/Lesner build, he just doesn't have that Goldberg/Lesner badass to them, thus this is a guy that could be something because his in ring work can improve and look nice, he's got a good look to him, and he's fast, he just needs more time.
Also a gimmick or a manager just something to give him personality.
Brock Lesner wouldn't have been Brock Lesner if Paul Heyman wouldn't have pounded into him how to be Brock Lesner.

Wasn't Lesner also on the roids?
I'm sorry if I'm mistaken, but I seriously swore he was linked to a roids story years back.
Correct me if I'm wrong.

Don't remember hearing anything about, it's just Bobby Lashley is a big dude, but he just doesn't have that steroid look that some of the guys have.
Maybe I'm just buying into it wrong, I'm not a Lashley fan by a longshot but I he's a guy that I don't think needs to straight up shit on for doing what he's doing, because 90% of us would do the same thing in his situation, and he does look like despite being nervous and green, like he's trying, he's not phoning it in like Big Dave.

I could argue the same thing with CHRIS MASTERS...but like Lashley, they're both boring.

Chris Masters had it.
Don't bash on him, he's been shitted on for now reason I can see, when he was tagging with Carlito that was some golden stuff, wrestling will always have a spot for those big muscle busters looking fellas.
Masters has a good work rate, it's pretty good in the ring, and in my personnal opinoin much better in his ring work than Carlito. He gets trouble for Steroids, well I could care less, the dude was doing great, I feel like they should've beat Kane and Show for those belts when that match came up and kept that tag team together for a while.
It would elevated those guys to main event booked correctly, they could've been what Rated RKO are now, but instead they've reduced them to absolute nothings that don't even try anymore.
Masters wasn't boring til the Office started shitting on him.

That's bull (but again, you're on this Carlito thing so whatever...)
He was boring and not taken by the crowds BEFORE he got busted for steroids. His only notable gimmick was the Masterlock Challenge, but when his only serious work is this weekly gimmick, and then exceptions are made with some people either unofficially breaking out or, with your hero the Great Khali, not even able to grasp arms around it.
When that happened, I knew that Masters was through. Expect him to be demoted down to ECW.

I find him to be largely boring, but not in that "I wish he'd go away" Chris Masters kind of way. They should have given him a Goldberg gimmick and let him go to town, because chain wrestling is not his forte and he's still too green to know how to sell well or play to the crowd the right way. He strikes me as a guy brought up fast for his look and physique before he truly got seasoned.

How could you vote no when 28 people have voted yes, 1 yes kinda answers the question.

I do like Bobby Lashley, I just don't like where he is on the card. He seems like he's a little better each time I see him but he should not be a champion. Not yet. The oh-so-subtle push he's recieving doesn't help matters. He's big, he's strong, but he's bland.

I dislike him. He bores me to tears, doesnt seem very over to me, and I am baffled by his enormous push. I also think that, much like Cena before him, alot of the people supporting him on this forum and voted that they like him are only doing so because all the "smarks" dislike him. Just my opinion.

Lashley = 2007 Internet Whipping Boy I like him a bit, I just don't like them forcing him on the fans like they have. Having said that, the hate here is WAY overboard. Your sig says it all on how I like Lashley. BTW the Code Red was awesome! Pittmania still runs wild!

I think this is a very good point. I think he's a nice guy. But in wrestling where you're on television you have top be cool too. I know that's a simple issue, but it's also a pretty important one. There's just really not anything "cool" about him. Goldberg was cool. Tony Atlas was cool. Brock Lesnar was cool. Lashley's just kind of there for the ride.

He goes from getting clubbed with a shileglah on Smackdown to being the ECW champion when he couldn't have lasted ONE DAY in the old ECW.
I don't really "hate" Lashley as much as him receiving a push when there are others that could hold that title (that can wrestle as well) and embody what the hell ECW stood for.
