Typical "NO!" answer for me. I want to apologize. I do want to apologize. I want to apologize. I want to apologize, Mr. McMahon. I want to apologize. Because last week when you slapped me, I should have beat the HELL out of you! *BIG EYES*

I know you were talking to someone else, but I just wanted to jump in here: That's bull (but again, you're on this Carlito thing so whatever...) He was boring and not taken by the crowds BEFORE he got busted for steroids. His only notable gimmick was the Masterlock Challenge, but when his only serious work is this weekly gimmick, and then exceptions are made with some people either unofficially breaking out or, with your hero the Great Khali, not even able to grasp arms around it. The Masterlock was his main gimmick, yes, but he was also involved in the feud with Carlito and the feud with Shawn Michaels. I mean, WWE through him in there with Michaels...right after the Hogan/Michaels SummerSlam match. It sounds to me like they wanted him to get noticed (I just wonder what changed their minds). He was being reacted to with the Masterlock Challenge. When he first started, dragging audience members out of their seats to their dooms, people were begging for a chance (Too bad for plants...). Then he worked his way through the midcard and people you normally don't see on Raw were getting cheered like crazy because people wanted to see the move broken. I remember when ROSEY of all people showed up, full Super-Hero regalia, and the crowd went nuts.. Everytime someone "broke" the hold, it was normally through alternative means. Someone interfered and, even though the hold was broken, Masters could still claim that no one could do it, making people wanting it broken cleanly even more. Then, when Lashley, and his amazing super-push, actually broke the hold, the crowd of people who at first barely acknowledged him cheered. They got to see what they wanted...finally. It that isn't "getting a reaction" I don't know what is... Despite how much people hate the new ECW, it isn't a demotion and is probably more entertaining than the others shows. It a breeding (excuse the pun...) place for new stars and if Masters went there, all he would do is help the progress of a few guys or regain some footing following the loss of his main gimmick. ECW is a show were someone can be built up. I just don't like it when people put it down.

Oddly enough, the title of this thread was what teachers used to ask the other students about me (my last name being Lashley of course).

Any of you guys remember Ted Arcidi? A few of us have been comparing Lashley to Goldberg, Lesnar, etc. We've come to the conclusion that they're very different. But I just remembered Ted Arcidi. If there were anyone to compare Lashley with from history, it's him.

I can't hate or like him, because he doesn't really draw any feeling other than apathy from me.

I like Lashley. I just don't think he's ready to be a World Champion yet.
