Ortons had like....3 injurys early in his career though. I think I even heard that from an early foot injury he'd never totally have the feeling back in his foot or something. I didn't know about the 8 different kinds though. Source? Source: PWInsider.com Audio - The wrestler who looks the worst in all of this is obviously Randy Orton. He's been linked to eight drugs and there's no reason to be using that many unless you are indeed abusing them, even if you have legal prescriptions for everything. Gotcha. I'm not gonna sit here and pretend to be a doctor, but that is a lot.

I can see people taking and running with the Gashead Orton thing. Those are a DAMN lot of prescriptions.
And let's not forget:

There's even steroids for those with asthma. yeah, if I recall my asthma days correctly, a lot of those inhalers are low level steroids, I'm open to correction on that. I remember my doctor prescribing pills at one stage and if I remember correctly he said it was just a stronger form of steroid than the inhaler my brother had Edit: damn, 5 pages and not a Nash/'you're on the juice' joke, I guess that fad's over also, when I read the title of this thread, I assumed it was a joke, I mean come on: total juice head (jeff hardy being in this photo was unintentional, it was the first one I could find that showed how un-juiced helms looks, I was looking for that pigeon chasing photo............I'll stop rambling now)

wwe isnt a"sport". if i hurt my back at work and a doctor perscribes me some kind of steroids nobody cares. if i find a doctor that will keep perscribing those steroids after im healed up im not doing anything illegal. it woul be my choice, my body. its a big deal in "real" sports because they can help in other ways other than looks. (Yes i know the look and recovery time can further their careers but if they have a legit prescription there is nothing more wrong with a wrestler taking steroids than the guy in the factory or pouring concrete (me) with a legit injury.) as far as i know wwe doesnt have a "banned substance" list. Masters (for example) could piss tomorrow and come up positive for steroids and as long as he can show a prescription it doesnt matter. they probably have the same policy as most employers. i take my pain killers no problem. i take my wifes i fail. its that simple. nobody cares if the guy in the factory or construction abuses the system but if "the edge" or the hurricane does the crap hits the fan.

WWE coming-down on anyone for juice is a joke. Vince is obviously not "natural" himself plus you're a freaking moron if you think any of the three champs are natural or face any punishment for juicing.
Having guys on the sauce puts $ in Vince's pocket. The only time he'll come-down on a guy for being on the juice is if the guy is already in the doghouse.

I personally sympathize with him. I have had steroids forced on me as part of my treatment. I was perscribed them and told that if I did not take them, I would probably be back in the hospital immediately. Now, I no longer take the steroids due to side effects that luckily allowed me to no longer take them. Now did what I do was illegal in any way......I definately do not think so.

what i hate is when i hear about all of these "analysts" who are talking about this topic who have no real research on the topic. One analyst I remember was not suprised that a guy named Rey Mysterio was taking them. Maybe if that person did some research, he would know that his original name was Rey Mysterio Jr. I am personally suprised to see Rey's name up there because of that history and unless he has a good reason for them, I will be geniunely dissapointed in him.

Wrestlers roid for all kinds of reasons: - mass (see Vince, hoss-lovin' heart of).
- shredding (Vince again, but also "the look" a lot of guys want).
- healing from injury (what seems to be most involved here).
Mass seems to be what gets guys into health problems, with shredding also risky. I don't know if using steroids for healing from wear and tear is all that terrible, aside from the obvious fact that OVERstressing the body through too much activity will catch up with you even with "healing" steroids. I don't think this is that big of a deal healthwise, it's a manufactured PR problem. But the whole online pharmacy thing probably won't go away, because that always looks shady.
