Yeah, I still haven't seen the point either. It didn't add anything to his match at mania with Lashley. Last Summer with Carlito/Nitro/Benjamin/Hardy/Crazy fighting over it was fun

Yeah and who really could seriously beat Umaga? Khali? Yeah that would be much better.

Crazy v. Masters v. Kenny v. Nitro... any combination therein would be more interesting than Umaga just carrying it to the ring.

Reminds me of when Flair had it. 4 defenses in 6 months. It was just something he carried around.

Yeah, see this is why I hated Umaga going over Kane. Kane would have been perfecft to stop Umaga's winning streak in that loser leaves Raw match. Instead he's been languishing over on Smackdown. Granted he wasn't doing a hell of a lot on Raw to begin with, but aside from lighting MVP's ass on fire, what the hell has he done since he jumped?
If Kane were still on Raw and had the IC belt again, he would at least be defending it regularly. He's arguably the fightingest Intercontinental Champion of the last five years.

I know it hasn't exactly been prestigious in many moons, but heck you've got the title, you've got guys that could fight over it.. seems simple math there.
Wasn't it a battle royal or something back when Nitro had it? That was entertaining as all get out.

Umaga is the greatest IC champ of all time.

I would mark for an Umaga in HTM costume.
Hell at this point have him doing battle with Honky, it'd at least be SOMETHING.

They need to rename it "Jobber-to-the-Stars Championship Belt." Would certainly be more accurate with the way it's being used now.

I thought they might have a program with J. Hardy trying to get the belt back over the next couple of months.
Every match, he would get more and more offense in before the Bulldozer....dozed(?) through him. Leading to a big PPV showdown where Hardy overcomes the monster and regains the belt.
The belt would gain more meaning as the fans would react to how much Jeff wanted it.
Umaga would still be a monster.
Jeff would go back to upper-midcard status with the belt.
...However, they decided to skip something like that and give the Hardeyz the tag titles. Oh well.
Maybe Super Crazy can feud with Umaga. He is Super....and he is Crazy....which seems like a good enough combo to go after Umaga.

I've got a real bad feeling that Lashley's taking it off Umaga.

I mean, almost anything would be better than just having it as a prop for Umaga right now. He just doesn't strike me as the typical I.C. champion-mold kinda guy. Not to say he doesn't deserve it at all, but there are other people who I think are definitely more deserving, and could have some more entertaining scenarios than fighting Bobby Lashley every week.

The belt should definately not be held by Umag, it doesn't add anything at all to his charcter and has nullified the belt. It should be held by guys like the Hardys and Nitro, not the latest monster. Benoit taking it would seem appropriate, or maybe even someone like Chavo?
