Demoliton before Road Warriors/LOD?!?! Uhhh ya it is the WWE hof. I actually though the Road Warrior were already in the hall of fame. Anyway I'll defend Demolition to be in the Hall of Fame. Although they were slight ripoffs I actually dug them more than the LOD. They worked way better to me they were intimidating. Look at the entrence music and entrence attire way cooler! Plus I liked they're double team finisher way better as well the Doomsday Device in way overrated. To finish up I feel they had superior competition in WWE they had The Hart Foundation, Bulldogs, The Rockers and the tag team of Haku and Andre which were so dominant back than probaly as much as BOD. So yes I think they deserve it.

Of late, the thought in the WWE mind is that Demolition were LOD ripoffs and that is that....even though they were heavily over with WWF crowds and were one of the first 3-peat champions in the company's history.

I actually agree but what did LOD do in WWE? Nothing really. Demolition along with the Wild Samoans should be in the hall of fame because of there importance of developing tag wrestling in the WWE. Also I forgot about the Von Erich family they should be in as well I mean because of Fritz, Kerry and the WCCW which is probaly a lock since they are doing a WCCW DVD.

That is true, LOD didn't do much in the WWF, however, the HOF doesn't always concern itself with guys WWF careers, Vern Gagnge got in, didn't he? LOD should be in because of their overall impact on the tag scene, which if they hadn't done what they did, Demolition wouldn't exist.
Both teams should be in, but I'd vote for LOD first.

I agree with pretty much all of the ones people have listed here with two exceptions:
1. Ric Flair-The guy is still wrestling on a regular basis. I say wait until he's at least semi-retired like Hogan. 2. Earthquake-Is everybody voting him just because he died? He wasn't that great. He debuted in WWE in 1990 and by 1991 he was already on his down-turn. His multiple gimmicks in WCW were all a joke.
Here's who I think should be inducted: 1. Stu Hart-He might be the best trainer in history. He trained 1 AWA World Champion, 1 ECW World Champion, 1 IWGP World Champion, 4 WWE World Champions, 2 WCW World Champions, and 6 WWE Hall of Famers.
2. Paul Bearer-Legendary manager
3. Miss Elizabeth-The first true Diva of WWE
4. Curt Hennig-Simply Perfect
And maybe... Don Muraco, Rick Rude, Trish Stratus, Terry Taylor, Jess McMahon

Demos and LOD should maybe go in the same year. Even before them, I want to see the British Bulldogs, as well as the Hart Foundation inducted as a team.
LOD were 2-time tag champs, and were the most over team from 1990-92.

Like I said in the other thread, John Tenta is not a Hall of Famer. He was a great guy, but throughout his career he had crappy gimmicks and one tag team title run. Let' not get our personal opinions of the man mixed in with facts. This years Hall of Fame inductees should be...
Ted DiBiasi Dusty Rhodes Curt Henning The Road Warriors Mr. T (The ONLY celebrity who deserves to be in the HoF.) Von Erich family Terry Funk (A definite long shot)
Had Bam Bam not have passed away, nobody would even mention his name in the same sentence as the HoF. With that said, he does not get in this year.

I actually agree but what did LOD do in WWE? Nothing really. These days, since McMahon basically owns every last piece of all the old wrestling organizations, the whole scope of a wrestler/team's career comes into factor. Gone are the days when they just ignored AWA or WCW, now it and the WWF/E are all a part of rich co-operative wrestling history.........which, ironically, McMahon now owns. So the Road Warriors meant more to wrestling as a whole than Demolition did. Even though in the WWF, Demolition was probably more significant than the LOD ever was.

What are the chances that Ron Simmons shows up in a tuxedo and says his infamous catchphrase when he is informed that he isn't being inducted this year?

I just want to see Hennig inducted this year....If that happens, and Bobby Heenan inducts him, I'll be happy.

According to a report on Rajah, the Samoans will be going in this year. Nothing on wwe.com or anywhere else, so just take it as a rumor for now.

Is it a WWE HOF or a Sports Entertainment/Wrestling HOF? I'd go with Funk regardless, but just curious.
