Its not on TV this year, so they don't need to pull in a huge name. This year could be the year they induct guys who are legendary, but only to wrestling fans, and not the casual viewer.
That said, I think the list could go as follows:
Ted DiBiase (inducted by I.R.S.) Jake Roberts (inducted by Jim Beam) Mr. Perfect (inducted by Bobby Heenan) Arn Anderson (inducted by Ric Flair) Mr. Fuji (inducted by Jimmy Wang Yang) Dusty Rhodes (inducted by Dustin Rhodes)

Like I said in the other thread, John Tenta is not a Hall of Famer. He was a great guy, but throughout his career he had crappy gimmicks and one tag team title run. Let' not get our personal opinions of the man mixed in with facts. This years Hall of Fame inductees should be... Ted DiBiasie Dusty Rhodes Curt Henning The Road Warriors Mr. T (The ONLY celebrity who deserves to be in the HoF.) Von Erich family Terry Funk (A definite long shot) Had Bam Bam not have passed away, nobody would even mention his name in the same sentence as the HoF. With that said, he does not get in this year. Agreed with everything you said. I would add Savage, Ultimate Warrior, and Sammartino to the list, but its one of those "Believe it when I see it deals"

He could also be flying back right after, as he wouldn't want to get caught up with Mania. Still, I say Vince should do everything to kiss his ass and bury the hatchet. At this point, maybe he should just let Shane or HHH negotiate with him, as Bruno may be more open to listening to someone new.

Bruno just said 5 months ago in a Shoot Interview he will never do the HoF as it would be hypocritical to make money for WWE.
Screw it, DO IT Bruno!

When I read that Hogan and Vince had a falling out and Hogan would probably be not be at Wrestlemania it got me thinking.
With Hogan out the WWE picture for the time being it could make it possible for Randy Savage to be inducted this year.
I will be optimistic about it.

I've got a feeling that a Von Erich will be inducted this year, either Fritz or Kerry.I hope Savage gets in,he deserves to be there, like him or not.

I just had a thought and probaly such a long shot but I thought I would just put it out there. Why not induct Adrian Street? I don't think he ever worked for the WWE, but thats not the point. He should be in because his gimmick revolutionized wrestling. The whole exotic gimmick influenced tons of wrestlers, such as Goldust, Adrian Adonis, Rico, and many others. I feel he is a very important part of wrestling and should be inducted. Also if you induct Verne Gagne and maybe induct Fritz Von Erich than why not Street?

Gorgeous George should be in before Adrian Street. He led the way for the, "feminine," gimmick.

If we are going back to the pre-WWWF days, as Gorgeous George was, who else could be inducted? Frank Gotch, George Hackenschmidt, Lou Thesz, and Orville Brown can all be considered.
For a celebrity, how about Cyndi Lauper? Her angle with Richter, Albano, and Moolah helped the WWF get its first mainstream exposure.
