Since the other thread was lost, I'm starting up a new one. They'll start naming the inductees soon, maybe even tonight. Let the speculation begin.
Inductees (so far):
Dusty Rhodes (to be inducted by Cody and Dustin Rhodes) Mr. Perfect (to be inducted by Wade Boggs) Jerry "The King" Lawler (to be inducted by William Shatner) Nick Bockwinkel (to be inducted by Bobby Heenan) Mr. Fuji (to be inducted by Don Muraco) The Original Sheik (to be inducted by Sabu) Wild Samoans (to be inducted by Rosey and Samu) Jim Ross

Usually the first two they announce are the big ones. I can't think of anyone that would shock me. As much as I respect Dusty and Steamboat, I don't think they draw like Hogan and Hart did the past few years and garner that interest. I have no clue.
Love to see Savage.

I'm pretty sure a big name person right off the bat would get USA to change their mind about airing the HoF Special and not the L&O marathon.
And the only big name that'd budge them, I think, is Randy Savage.

Watch the Savage/Steamboat WM3 match or any match involving Steamboat and Flair. It's remarkable that Steamboat wasn't inducted in prior years. Usually the first two they announce are the big ones. I can't think of anyone that would shock me. As much as I respect Dusty and Steamboat, I don't think they draw like Hogan and Hart did the past few years and garner that interest. I have no clue. Bam Bam is a possibility and so is Earthquake. I'd love to see the Road Warriors get inducted finally and there have been some rumblings about the Sheik getting an induction from Sabu.

Howard Finkel. The yearly campaign of me trying to get him in the Hall of Fame begins today. By "campaign" I mean putting him in my sig. And by "trying" I mean sitting on my arse.

I put my picks and rationale in the prior thread, but it was very detailed. Right now, the most deserving is Bruno Sammartino, but it's up to him to bury the hatchet. The one I would most like to see this year is Ted DiBiase.

Here's My Picks: Paul Orndorff He's already in. He was inducted at WM21 along with other people associated with Hulk Hogan. That Said My Picks for this year. Ill keep it at a solid 7. Randy Savage - Based on his Charisma and Matches with Steamboat, Flair, and Hogan. Ricky Steamboat - His matches with Flair and Savage. Ric Flair - His 16 time World Champion Credit. His Legacy, Charisma, and great matches. Also to give him another credit to add to his Legacy. The only "Full Time Hall of Famer." The Shiek - It's been rumored anyways and they have Sabu to do it. Earthquake - His unfortunate passing brought us all closer as we remembered why we became wrestling fans because of the time he spent with us. One or "all" of the Von Erichs. - They can induct the active wrestlers of the Von Erichs as Kevin can accept it. I have no clue how inducting them would work out. But they belong because of how popular WCCW became and The Freebirds got their start here. Howard Finkel - If Im not mistaken... He's the first employee Vince McMahon hired after he became owner. If that's not true then he has to be the longest employed employee. His work with the Rumbles and WrestleMania's is why he should be inducted.

Steamboat really deserves to go in this year. He's on good terms with WWE & is working as a road agent, so why not?
Also, Dusty & Dibiase should be inducted this time. Same goes for Howard Finkel. Maybe Flair as well.

What happened to the other thread?
Also, I say this year's inductees will be Dusty Rhodes, The Road Warriors, Mr. Perfect, Ricky Steamboat, Terry Funk, Bam Bam Bigelow, Ted DiBiase, and Rick Rude.

I'm willing to Join Dibiase is Good's get Finkel in the HOF Campaign..
Also i think they should give in and Induct MR T this year if their Planning a Celebrity induction.
If the Fridge and Pete Rose are in than I believe BA is overdue. *Dreads the Idea that Kfed could be a Future Hall of Famer*

Bam Bam had a great career, he was an innovative big man...but what did he do which would really make him deserving for the HOF? Probably his fued with Doink, I guess.....His fued with Doink and LT were really the highlights of his WWF career, I don't really know much about his stints in ECW and WCW, but really, he didn't do much there either.
If you really must induct someone who is not alive, go with Hawk and induct the Road Warriors.

I am going to renew my Terry Funk for Hall Of Fame push I started last year. He deserves it more then most mentioned in this thread.

I got that other thread on my bookmarks, so I'd remember to sticky it again when they start announcing the inductees. But eh, no big deal, starting a new one would be better actually.
