Vote and say why you picked that choice. I'm gona have to go with Wrestlemania 13. Not only is it my favourite match out of these but it's my favourite match of all time. The actual wrestling in the Survivor Series encounter may have been better but the drama, the action, the intense hatred these two made seem real for each other was all off the chain. Plus the amazing visual of a bloodied Austin screaming but never quitting along with the stigma of him never having given up was incredible. I don't think a match since has packed so much drama, great action and storytelling combined within it.

I said Survivor Series, because it never gets any credit. That match was great. True, the WrestleMania match was probably the best match... but I've seen it so many times, it's pathetic.

I've seen two of the three, but being at WM 13 was the main reason I picked that one.
Then, my friend was kind enough to send me the PPV feed a week later. You know how JR can add to a great match and make it something unforgettable?
The submission match never dragged.

Honestly my favorite encounter isn't a match at all....it was Austin beating Bret's ass in the ambulence

The WrestleMania match is a true classic. It's also the perfect example of how to put over another wrestler without losing to them--Bret won the match, but Austin came out looking better. It was an expertly booked feud between two wrestlers with great in-ring chemistry. In addition, the contrast between their characters (hero and anti-hero) made it even more compelling.

Mania 13. Although Hart is one of the main reasons Austin became Austin, I'm still pissed that Hart never cleanly let Austin go over. Why couldnt he have put him over on a raw or something before he won the title at Summerslam?
Thats the only thing keeping this feud from being one of the best of all time imo. A top feud should have a few wins traded back and forth(aka HBK Angle)

WM 13. probably my third fav match of all time. and being below rock-austin (wm17) and danielson-mcguiness is nothing to be ashamed of. like someone said, it was great, because it got both wrestlers over. bret, because he won the match, and austin, because he never gave up. both wrestlers played to their tweener roles really well, and both came off looking like awesome wrestlers. it had just enough hardcore to be cool, without having so much that you cant really buy it, it had just enough technical wrestling to make it a classic, but not so much to seem tiresome. the ending was incredible, and you genuinely believed that both men hated each others guts.
simply put- it rocked the cock.

I don't think it was, really,IMO. I guess within the context of the feud, it wasn't needed. It's not like he didn't want to, as he's petitioned for people to go over him such as Benoit in WCW, only to have management say no and have Bret win. Plus you don't always have to have wins traded back and forth for it to be a great feud. A lot of people would say that was one of the best feuds in WWE, and it didn't need any back and forth, you win one, I win one (i.e HBK/Angle), etc. as the crowds were very much into it.

The match at WM13 was the greatest of all time. The Survivor Series match was just the start of the feud.

The WM match was the best for so many reasons, such as the doubleturn. It's also symbolic to many as the end of the New Generation Era.

Don't forget one thing about who jobbed to who...the feud was expected to end at Wrestlemania XIV with Bret jobbing to Austin and Austin winning the title...don't tell me that if that happened it would not have been THE greatest feud of all time!!

Survivor Series. Just a classic 30 minute match with no BS about it. WM maybe iconic, but the men really wore their workboots in November.

That would've been sick if it happened, a lot better than HBK/Austin,IMO which had better encounters than that one, partly to HBK's bad back at the time.
