We get that you never liked Benoit, dude. Hardly anyone in any thread or board I've been to is questioning that Benoit did it, anyway. Most people have come to terms with it.
Why beat a dead horse? There's always going to be some people who don't think that's what really happened, but that doesn't mean they are right, or that anyone needs to disprove them. The police will do their job and come to a conclusion and that will be it.

In reference to the wrestler's busy schedules and thus lack of time to see each other: I've (and i know several people here too) read several articles that Lance Storm wrote about, discussing life on the road. People tend to travel with a set group of people, as Storm said that he would always travel with Helms and Christian. In fact, he said it was considered bad manners to switch traveling partners on an extended trip. It's not like these guys spend every moment with each other, as pairs or small groups of wreslers travel relatively independet from other groups.
Storm said, when Eddy passed away, that he likely never talked to him about anything non-work related and he couldn't remember if he meet certain people, like Sensational Sherri, over the years. With all the traveling, the need to have travel partners, the fact that few people stay to watch the entire show after their matches, leads me to think that someone like Benoit could hide various emotional issues from people he wasn't close to. If you always travel, train, etc. with the same people, what happens when they don't notice your problems? How could other people who are even more distant from you know?
I think we shouldn't play the blame game.

You're right. We should concentrate on finding the real killer. Do you ever stop? Some of us apreciate the sarcasm, lightens up the mood a bit.

vamp, I sent you a PM earlier, but I guess I need to do it here. Please don't get this way with those you're disagreeing with. You've been very intelligent on this thread thus far and this is beneath you. You're right. We should concentrate on finding the real killer. Seriously, bro. Stop. The last thing we need here is people getting condescending with one another. If someone's posting something "out there" ignore it.

Yeah I have no problem with Vampiro. We need to keep things light. If he starts becoming tasteless then there's a problem, but for the most part he's just being a smart ass.

You're right. We should concentrate on finding the real killer. Some people deal with things in different ways. I live in America, where it's innocent until proven guilty. Until they are 100% sure, I will try to make sense of it. NOT defend him, but attempt to make sense of this to myself. Thank you very much. I agree. Granted that making up wild conspiracy theories without a shred of evidence counts as "making sense of it". Hell, I'll throw my hat into the ring; Aliens did it. It was a conspiracy with the New World Order who reside in a secret bunker underneath The Bohemian Grove. The alien who did it probably has some sort of business dealings with the Bush administration. Check out the writings of Nostradamus, this is in there too. Have I covered everything yet? Is it "making sense" yet?

And you'll notice I already asked that mention of the wiki page be stopped and have been deleting posts dealing with it.
Regardless of how other posters act, don't let yourself do worse.

I'm just saying that Benoit thought there was a reason to protect his family. He said he felt he was being watched. He has two German Shepherds protecting the house. He sends a text message talking about the side door being opened? Again, I'm saying this because it's hard to believe, but this is evidence that does need to be figured out. Those text messages I would intrepret as, "I'm about to kill myself, here is my physical address so you can tell the authorities where to find me, I have locked up the German Shepherds so they will not attack them, and I have left the door open so they can get in." As to someone letting the dogs out. Having owned several dogs, I can attest to their brightness in escaping from even the most carefully constructed pens, let alone just being locked in a pool area with a jumpable or dug-underable fence.

Clearly, straight up reason isn't going to bust the nut on how stupid this whole conspiracy thing is. So I'll just take the Jonathan Swift approach.

Hey, I didn't personally attack you did I? I was just posting my thoughts on the matter. I never meant to come in here and stir up trouble, but look at the JonBenét Ramsey case. All I'm saying is that I'm keeping other possibilities in mind until the case is officially closed.

Seconded. I had a whippet that could actually climb trees to get out of the yard. Other than that he was insanely stupid.

I bought the Hard Knocks: The Chris Benoit Story DVD the day it came out, and I loved watching it. I took it out of my DVD rack and I have it sitting on my coffee table, and I don't know what to do with it. To keep it makes me feel a little guilty, because even worshiping him as a wrestler is still paying tribute to a man who became a murderer. However, burning it or trashing it feels disrespecful to myself, my fandom, and I don't want the hours I spent enjoying his matches and singing his praises as a wrestler to feel meaningless. I want to watch Angle vs Benoit from Royal Rumble 2003 right now, but I can't bring myself to do it, and I don't know if I ever can again.
This is among the most disturbing and confusing situations I have ever seen or experienced. Looking at the recent WWE.com update and seeing those cryptic text messages at almost 4 AM from Benoit and seeing the lack of communication and how off he sounded in the phone calls, it's all very creepy. I can't even begin to imagine the horrors and delusional madness that must have taken that house over the course of several days or the nightmares that Benoit must have been experiencing or inflicting. I cannot comprehend this. I can't throw away my memories and appreciation of what he has done in the ring, but I'll be forever disturbed by what he did in his last days outside of it. I feel sorry that he could not find the help he obviously needed to prevent any of this, but I cannot feel any sympathy for his actions. Ever.
I only hope he has found the peace he so desperately needed now, and may God have mercy on his tortured soul. RIP Nancy and Daniel.

Don't know if this has been said because this thread moves so fast and I want to reply before it's to late, but I personally think he texted that in order to pretty much say that when someone comes they can come in the side door and don't worry about the dogs because they are locked up.

I have another suggestion for a history replacement:
Norman Smiley could actually cover the ECW run.....or have we got that one yet.

Actually, I was referring to the "Black Helicotpers, Denver International Airport, George Bush Sr" sense of the word. The wrestling connection is just a coincidence. Or is it? Only the german shepherds know for sure.
