Yeah thanks for not giving anything away Well, techinally he didn't. He didn't say who it was. So it's cool. Hey mdoggdx316, where were you sitting? haha I wasn't there. But it's not that hard to guess who he could have been talking about.

Riccaboni and Lancers are spot on with what I was trying to say. The smart New York crowd really had an opportunity to make a difference in sombody's push last night and with Saturday Night's Main Event and failed to make any sort of impact. I believe it's been said on more than one occasion that Vince sees MSG as his pulse on the WWE audience and unfortunately, they really dropped the ball last night. But is it the crowd's responsibility to effect change? Responding to someone in a way that isn't in WWE's script just for the sake of making a difference is just screwing with Vince. Maybe WWE's giving the fans what they want. Or the ones who would do such a thing have already given up. (shrug)

Without giving away anything, a certain someone came back at the end which made the place EXPLODE! But Vince's Limo already returned...

I think the gist of this message isn't registering with some of you. It's not so much that the crowd wasn't responsive to what was being put out there, it's that typically Madison Square Garden crowds are a smarky bunch and last night there seemed to be a lack of that smarkness. I think in this case, he was hoping for the crowd to "shit on what the WWE is feeding them" and do things like bust out "WE WANT PUNK!", "THIS SHOW SUCKS!", and "RING-OF-HON-OR!" *clap clap clap-clap-clap* chants. Those sorts of things.

When I was a teenager I used to want everyone in every crowd to chant "ECW", which was stupid because ECW wasn't even that good. But I thought that was the most awesome stuff ever until I got trained myself and realized, "Wow, half of those guys don't know how to work a match."

How dare they get caught up in a simple staged physical drama betwixt good and evil!!!! They're supposed to be watching the workrate, dammit!!!!

For supposedly, being one of, if not, the smarkiest of the smark crowds, the audience last night in Madison Square Garden was a little underwhelming in their reactions. Aside from the obvious Cena despise (and admittedly, it seemed as if the Cena fans outnumbered the smarks, a minimal of 60/40 percent), NYC didn't bring the noise for anything they weren't supposed to. Are NYC-area smarks at shows a dying breed? Discuss... Is it possible that WWE are just piping in the cheers now?

Being that RAW was taped and not live probably dampened the crowds spirit a bit. Plus WWE had time to pipe in cheers if they needed to.
