*I was more disappointed/angry with Khali and Morrisinon retaining rather than Cena
*DAMN is not even close to being old
*I never "got' the original ECW, I respect the talent, but I was just never into it and in my mind was never a threat to WWF or WCW
*I had a HUGE crush on Missy Hyatt
*There has never..ever...been an ugly WWE diva (save for the obvious ones, you know) some are hotter than others but if any of them walked up to us on the street and started flirting wit us, we wouldnt know what to do
*I like Boogeyman, Hornswoggle and Cryme Tyme
*The whole WM 20 celebration is overrated in my book

i honestly dont mind Khali and Morrison being the champs for their brands Me neither. Khali isn't a good wrestler, I know. He's a giant. How much will they pop when he's toppled, though? That's the key. Think if Matt Hardy did it. Not a damn rollup, a decisive win. I wish Christian Cage will come back some day. I sort of get why Bret wore pink, but if you look into the likely meaning of his last name, it's odd. "Hart" means stag. I can't stand Ric Flair. Saw his old work. Good stuff, but he wasn't really ever any better than his opponents. His matches were combined efforts. His mic work was great, though. Nowadays.... Not really, seeing as you can barely hear him. If Flair got one last run, they'd have to bust their ass to make the belt mean anything again.

-Jillian Hall isn't TV ugly. She's ugly ugly. I do not find her attractive in the slightest. And I don't watch Raw to see ugly chicks. If I wanted to see ugly chicks, I could hang out at the QFC up the street and stare at the checkout clerk with hairy arms.
-Calling the headlocks Orton does "rest holds" is stupid. He continually cranks on his opponent's neck and as such has the most convincing headlock in the business. Seriously, do you want the guy to start busting out a Mexican Surfboard Stretch for no reason? 99% of the roster from the midcard on up use headlocks in their matches, and they don't work nearly as hard making it look convincing as Orton.
- I hate Crime Time. They, to me, represent everything wrong with wrestling. The only reason they're over is because of their stupid catch phrase. What type of message does that give to the rest of the roster? "You can say anything you want, as long as you say it every week. Eventually people will say it with you. People love saying stuff in unison." Also see: Mr. Kennedy.

Agreed. The headlocks and chinlocks are feasible moves, and Orton really DOES do some of the most convincing holds like those. A lot of people have certain submission holds that they like to use. Sure, it's not a flashy move, but Orton looks like he could wrench a lesser man's head off.

* I always thought Sherri Martel was hot. Even when the WWF was trying their hardest to make her the "ugly girl". I always felt bad for Sherri, and while I'm sure she knew it was just a peice of business, I can't help but draw some comparison to the Molly Holly/wide ass angle that was probably even more disgusting than the "Scary" Sherri one. In fact, it was right around the time that the "Scary" Sherri angle started that I really started to despise the WWF and it's over-the-top cartoonish BS. * I absolutely loved the Dusty Rhodes comercials for Mellow Yellow soda. * I always thought that much of the Stone Cold Steve Austin character was stolen from Stan Hansen. So much, in fact, that I always secretly hoped Vince would sign Hansen to come over and be a foil for Austin. That might not have sold a lot of tickets, but damn, it would have been fantastic for me (on a personal level). * I loved Stan Hansen's character. He's got a fat wife and 9 kids to feed, you know. ;D *Tony Schivonie was *good* at one time. It's sad that he'll only be remembered by the majoirty of today's fans as a bumbling shill who didn't know the difference between a sidewalk slam and a full arm drag and twist. * I hate the way WWE revises history to suit their needs. It insults me, and turns me off of the product. * I hated ECW, but I REALLY hate the way Vince has pissed on what legacy ECW had by giving fans his vision of an ECW product. * I loved Biker Taker, and wish he had stayed with that gimmick instead of the wrestling zombie gimmick. * I never really liked the British Bulldog Davey Boy Smith. I loved Tom Billington, but strongly disliked Smith as a worker. For that reason alone, I was never a fan of the British Bulldogs. Although I used to secretly get a kick out of Matilda "chasing" Bobby Heenan around the ring. * Larry Zybisco wasted his career after beating Sanmartino in the cage. * My first ever favorite wrestler was Baron Von Rashke. And that is all the people need to know.

Another "name something popular thread"? K...
None of the current divas are ugly. Yeah they aint all real good looking but they aint ugly. If anyone of them was on this forum everyone would be going all crazy for them and stuff. I guess people just hate being told who looks good and who dont...

I think Randy Orton is mega-talented but relies too much on restholds.
CM Punk could be the worst human being in the world but I would still be a huge fan of his.
Matt Hardy vs MVP is one of the most entertaining feuds I have seen in years.
I believe that Mickie James and Maria are the two best divas in the WWE cause of what Mickie brings to the table wrestling wise and what Maria brings to the table personality wise.
I absolutely love the John Morrison gimmick.
Elijah Burke is getting shafted on ECW.
I can say that I don't like Batista because of what he has allegedly done as far as getting Ariel fired, no selling children, cheating on his cancer stricken wife etc, but I just don't like him because watching his matches is like sticking a needle in my eye.
The Great Khali and Snitsky are wastes of space and this hard-on the majority here have for those 2 is amusing yes, but sad.
I think TNA at this point in time sucks but I really want them to succeed.
If John Cena gets injured and can never wrestle again, I would probably throw a party.

*Santino Marella isn't funny. 'Nuff said.
*Some people take nostalgia too far. Having Hacksaw do the occasional comedy appearance on Raw isn't bad, but saying Psycho Sid should come back and take the title off of Cena(which was an actual suggestion in the Sid thread) just because he's apparently back in ring shape is ridiculous. Matter of fact, just bringing Sid back to the roster because he's no longer dependent on a cane to walk is ridiculous.
* Cryme Time are actually underrated as wrestlers, especially JTG.
*MVP's gonna be the guy carrying the company in a couple of years. He just has "it".
...That's it. At least for now.

You can work the jaw in so many ways besides a chin lock. And frankly, since I know that, I'm not going to care about how convincing it is, just like i don't care about Randy Orton. But hey, that's me, the guy who thinks criticizing Cena's moveset and praising Randy's is dumb as hell cause guess what? Randy's got less moves! Ok I'm getting out of here before my cynicism kills me.

-People may find him stale or boring, but I'd still rather watch The Undertaker than most of today's top guys, he's the best -I don't get the big deal about Matt Hardy at all -Kurt Angle is still great, sure he may be getting overexposed now, but what can ya do? -I don't mind when Austin makes appearances to drink beer and give someone the stunner -I've liked JBL since the Bradshaw days, and was a huge mark for the guy during the Cabinet era -Batista had one of the best main event buildups is recent WWE memory, he just sucks now -I enjoy John Morrison and don't mind that he is the ECW Champ -Burke is the best on ECW -Billy and Chuck were a good team that played their roles well, they just jumped the shark with the gay wedding, which was actually quite funny I'll try to think of more later

Morrison has the potential to be a main eventer for years. Yeah, I said it.
I kinda miss Biker Taker.
New ECW is sometimes better than the old one really was. People need to just let go it see it for what it is.

- I don't find Native American indian gimmicks to be that cartoonish when done properly, and wouldn't mind seeing one today.
- I think the WWE should only acknowledge Chris Benoit if they have no other choice. I certainly wouldn't put him in the HOF, though.
- CM Punk has the potential to be a company torchbearer.
- I want Flair to organize a heel stable in the future.
- Umaga still doesn't get enough love.

SPEAKing of the Hall of Fame ...
Vince McMahon could make a BOATLOAD of money if he built an actual Hall of Fame building - probably in Connecticut, but maybe even in New York - and had a place for fans to actually go and see the plaques, videos, memorabilia, etc. of the wrestlers/"superstars" that have been inducted. Why he has yet to do so continues to baffle me.
