I must've missed the news about HHH being Head Booker. Eh, I don't think it's a secret that Triple H has a hand in most of his storylines.

I must've missed the news about HHH being Head Booker. He does sit in on creative meetings and has serious say in his character, doesn't he? Two questions. 1) If Cade and Murdoch don't belong in the ring with Triple H...then why have them in a match with him? 2) If your tag champions are so devalued, why not spend a few weeks building them up and re-instituting their importance? Really, booking the champions of an entire division like that is pretty shoddy, no matter the circumstances. It wouldn't matter if it were World Champion vs. Cruiserweight Champion, unless your champ is SUPPOSED to be a joke, you never, ever book him/her like one.

HHH is back to his scorched Earth policy. Bury everyone around him.

Hey, remember how DX destroyed RAW's tag division last year in a single night? In fact, that faithful night had to be close to a year ago. Perhaps Trips was just celebrating the anniversary by himself tonight.

One thing WWE was always good at, and that was making new stars from scratch. It enabled them to outlast AWA, WCW, ECW, etc. It seems like it's something they've forgot how to do. No one can think of who's going to beat Cena. People grudgingly accept Batista as champ again because he sucks slightly less than Khali. These stupid booking decisions from the past few years have killed the future. In 97/97 you knew who the new guys were (SCA, Rock, HHH) that would be taking the top spots (HBK, Taker, Sid). Now I have no clue. Punk, MVP or will they too get buried when they go to Raw? Wouldn't surprise me.

Who cares?
Carlito isn't anything special...at all. Nor will he ever be from the looks of things.
The rednecks...again who cares?
The faces...Austin did that stuff all the time.
It's not the end of the world. You people are making it out like HHH just shot your puppy or something. I didn't watch it, but it doesn't sound THAT terrible.

To further the on-screen image that as much as Coach/McMahon try to screw Trips, they suck at it? A few weeks? It'll take less time to rebuilt Iraq than to rebuild a credible tag team division. Exactly how are they a joke to lose to Triple H? They didn't job to Stevie Richards (and I might add, if they did, then everyone would be joyful about it and not calling it a burial), they jobbed to one of the most dominate champions in recent history. Really the only argument you could use is that they lost to a spinebuster and not his finisher. That was kind of stupid.

Well, all my excitement at seeing Trips return has faded. And now I can't stand him.
Dammit.

They're jokes now because they're the champions. I don't care how dominate your singles guy is, the tag champions, when put in a situation where they're allowed to, you know, tag, should never come out on the short end, unless, again, they're supposed to be loser characters.
Titles and title matches can help sell pay per views. They can draw in fans. They can add drama and depth to your show.
But the WWE is top-heavy. It has all stars at the top, and not a thing going on in the middle or lower cards.
It's Booking 101, and they routinely ignore it. It's a big part of why I have no desire to watch it...which bugs me, because who wouldn't want a chance to enjoy a few hours of wrestling each week? I'd love to, but this kind of stuff is so jarringly dumb and counter-productive that it hurts.
I keep seeing people saying "People will forget this..."; well, yes, but people won't forget "Hey, there's those Cade and Murdoch dudes...they suck."
If you book them to suck, people will truly think they suck. Booking 101.
EDIT: For the record, I'm not so much railing against Trips himself, as much as I'm railing against ass-backwards, lazy booking.
I can't stand lazy wrestling writing.

It was dumb. Very dumb.
A guy who's been back only two or three weeks is able to beat Carlito despite being unable to use weapons, beats both tag team champions at the same time, deals with Carlito again and makes another tag team look like fools....all within a 24 hour period.

Anyone bringing up Austin...really?
Do you want Trips trying to be like Austin? Cause he can never be like Austin. Ever. He may want to be that popular and edgy, but he never will.
Trying to excuse this because the most popular wrestler of the Attitude Era did it...doesn't really work for me. Of course, that's just me.
What I saw tonight was dreadful, abominable booking that make 5 people look stupid while Triple H smiled like an idiot.

You know when you guys complain about crowds being dead during most undercard matches?
Yeah take a look at what Triple H did and you'll see why.
WWE has constantly told the fans that unless they're a main eventer, they aren't important.
And believe or not, you can be a bad ass without using your finisher on every single person who is in the ring at the same time with you.
Just because Stone Cold did, doesn't mean Triple H should be doing it too.
That's like saying it's okay for John Cena to have an unstoppable title reign because Hulk Hogan had one too.

It doesn't matter.
Either way, RAW will go on. It will continue to go however it will go and the only way we can change that is for millions to stop watching, en masse, and that will never happen.
The way things are going, things will likely not change for quite a while. Get used to it, or stop watching. If you don't like seeing the tag division getting buried, or your favorite stars being squashed week after week, then turn it off and stay out of WWE-Current. For every one of you who hates it, there are two more fans to replace you.
I hate to put it so bluntly like that, but it's what all the whiners need to hear.
Either stay, or go. Make the decision.
