I'm watching "Road to SlammiVersary" and JB is talking about King of the Mountain. His description:
"Picture a reverse ladder match."
I laughed. Just thought I'd share. ;D

You know, they should just make it a reverse ladder match. It would make it so much easier.
OR they make it a reverse ladder match where you're only allowed to acend the ladder after so much time had gone past.
I still don't understand the exact rules to this match.

Just thought I'd share. ;D Submitted for your approval, a match where the idea is to climb a ladder not to retrieve a belt, but to put it up there. Crazy? Maybe not, when you're in...The iMPACT Zone. A dimension not only of sight and sound, but of concept matches.

OR they make it a reverse ladder match where you're only allowed to acend the ladder after so much time had gone past. I still don't understand the exact rules to this match. I'm going to try to make this simple. -A TNA representative will be at ringside with the Championship Belt -In order to qualify to hang the title belt, you have to pin someone or make them tap out. -The person who is pinned or is forced to submit must spend 2 minutes in a small red cage. -Once you qualify you must take the title from the TNA representative, climb a ladder and snap it on the hook. I don't think I am missing anything. Here are some fun facts about the KOTM Match: -The person who gets pinned first has won every KOTM match -The title has changed hands in every KOTM match -The TNA Representative always has a beef with the person who wins the match (Russo-Jarrett in 04, Zybysko-Raven in 05, Zybysko-Jarrett in 06) -Jeff Jarrett will either win or there will be a commotion backstage because King Of The Mountain is his gimmick. (See Slammiversary 05) -A.J. Styles and Ron Killings have been in the most KOTM Matches with 3. If Jarrett is the mystery opponent, it will be his third. -Chris Harris was in the first KOTM match. Bet half of you forgot about his hyooge singles push in early-04.

I know a few people of said this but can't they just keep it simple? It's pro wrestling not rocket science.

They always called it a reverse ladder match I've never heard them refer to it as a reverse ladder match. I've heard members of this forum do it all the time, though (in the wake of the Reverse Battle Royal).

Pssst, hey kids, DSR, is actually Jeremy Borash. He just made up this thread to get ya talking about him.
Proof? Have you ever seen DSR or Borash at the same place at the same time? Cuz I haven't.
Edit: Wow I was fond of the comma in that first sentence. Bah, grammar's unpossible.

However he wasn't on the booking committee, so he cannot recieve any blame/credit for the match.

Borash: Picture yourself....in a boat on a river
I believe I was the one who coined the term "Reverse Ladder Match." someone started a thread about how insane the Reverse Battle Royal was and all these crazy ideas of Reverse Lumberjack Matches and such came up, so i said "they could do a Reverse Ladder Match.....oh wait!"

One thing I thought they were going to do but did not. Was when Sting was going to face Abyss in the match were you had to throw the other guy in a cage, I so thought it was going to be a reverse cage match. Good thing TNA are not that insane.

I was drinking Sprite when reading about the Reverse Lumberjack Match. Add Sprite to the list of liquids to come out of my nose. I can just imagine two guys wrestling on the outside with all the lumberjacks on the inside waiting to throw them back out. Or better yet, the Lumberjacks keep pulling the wrestlers out of the ring, and the wrestlers have to fight to get back in, instead of the other way around.

Okay, call me insane, but I swear I have seen a cage match where the goal was to get inside the cage from the outside.

I also liked my idea recently for a Revese Blindfold Match where the announcers, referee, and fans wore Blindfolds instead of the wrestlers.

It would be impossible to make a reverse table match. Prove me wrong Russo. that's easy! first guy or team to fix a broken table is the winner

I believe I was the one who coined the term "Reverse Ladder Match." Now don't rush to the patent office. In fact, don't go at all. Big whop-de-do.
