Hopefully the Government steps in and regulates WWE's wellness policy. This is awful.
The bibles gave me the creeps. No sane man could do that.

I'm still confused as to the text messages on Sunday... Were there messages or weren't there? There were. The dude on the coverage said they could be passages from the bible sent to other wrestlers (Chavo?).

Question to those who hate Fox news so much. Why the smurf do you keep watching it if all you do is pup? Becuase FOX news was doing better coverage of this durring the press conference and i didnt bother to chage afterward cause they were stil going on abot what they were talking about... so i bitched.

Question to those who hate Fox news so much. Why the smurf do you keep watching it if all you do is pup? It's because it had the press conference about Benoit, and they wanted to know about it.

The lifestyle of wrestling has to change and Vince McMahon needs to take action to change it; there needs to be lighter schedules; less steroids; less drugs. It is mainly because they are being worked into the ground; they become depressed and turn to drugs I don't give a flying f*** if Vince McMahon works these guys hard... We have NEVER seen this out of any wrestler... Like a flipped switch... Steroids, drugs, whatever... This is one person becoming ridiculously imbalanced... You cannot throw the blame onto Vince McMahon and the WWE's lap here... Nobody saw this coming...

Question to those who hate Fox news so much. Why the smurf do you keep watching it if all you do is pup? We probably want to hear from different sources to see if things are consistent. We just can't help but have an ounce of animosity towards FOX, and we have every right to react as we please. Sorry if it pisses you off.

Lots of wrestlers get worked into the ground, and Benoit was the first one to kill his family. Come on.

Yes, it's roids. Not seeing your best friend and closest person to you die unexpectedly, then seeing his memory exploited on TV for almost a year, then taking time off because your body's in too much pain, then coming back and not really getting used much. No it's those damn steroids. Damn them all to hell

Possibly network msg delivery delays? It's not unheard off, plus they lived in a far out place, possibly little signal coverage

Could be an error... My friend once sent me a text message at like 7PM and I didn't end up getting it until 2AM... But who knows...

A lot of the things that came up in the tributes would be consistent with some kind of schizotype disorder. Everyone always used to post that picture of Benoit like this: Which we all thought was funny. But that kind of blank, unemotional mannerism is what psychiatrists call "flat affect", and it's a symptom of a lot of really serious mental illnesses Obviously not everyone who looks like a stiff is a psychopath, but combined with things like extreme withdrawal, obsessiveness, grandiosity, etc. it can mean something real serious. All that being said, I don't think it would absolve the Crippler in the slightest. Unless he was being controlled by demonic possession, or had been replaced by a pod person, there is no absolution for killing your own child. None. No mental illness, no drug, no excuse. Do it, and thee are damned. Jed Shaffer ~Eddie's probably vomiting with rage right now. Sorry man, I totally understand what you're saying (and God knows I could never understand what could drive a person to kill ANYONE, let alone their own child), but that's just not how mental illness works. I'm not absolving Benoit of all blame here, at all. He kept himself in a profession that presented a ton of exposure to mood/mind-harming drugs, and it's not out of the realm of possibility that he was on numerous ones, from steroids, to pain prescriptions, to God knows how many other types of pills. But once the chemical imbalance occurs in your head, fighting it isn't exactly something you can just up and do on your own. Again, it's an unconscionable act, it's horrific, but I'm just saying that, since I never knew Chris Benoit, the human being, the man himself, I don't want to pass judgement on him AS a human being until we know all the why's and wherefor's concerning such imbalances. I fear that it could happen to anyone I know/love, that somewhere down the line they might be put on some series of meds that completely warps the way they behave and interact with others, to the point where they do something like get violent.

Ah, it's difficult to form words to discuss this situation. That thing about the placing of the Bibles near their bodies is just...weird and psychotic. The black-eye on professional wrestling has just gotten worse, and there's no sign of a recovery. I don't think they're blaming professional wrestling as a whole. Even though the media is going steroid crazy about this, the media has always been like that. They're not saying any bad things about WWE or professional wrestling as a whole. However, it is a dark day in the world of professional wrestling. Actually Trace Gallagher on Fox ended by saying that the government needed to crack down on WWE the same as it had on the MLB, etc. I think WWE is in for some rough seas.

No it's those damn steroids. Damn them all to hell Err, I really don't think that not being used on television in a main event capacity is going to make someone kill their family. I think it kind of underminds the situation, and takes blame off Benoit by doing that.
