*snicker* Okay, that's true. At least when the wrestlers are saying it, and not the fans. What's more obnoxious to new viewers: Overzealous fans or Don West talking like he's getting a hand job under the desk? Wait. Crowds who cheer a lot are bad? Yes. Crowds who chant "This is Awesome!" during a VKM match are not human. They are mutants. Alex Shelley says it to be true!

What about that stupid overdone high-five Don and Mike did whenever it was announced that, like, a large Coke was $3.00 or something...? That was when Steiner/Joe was announced. Also, Genesis 2006.

Crowds who chant "This is Awesome" at 90% of things are mutants. To date, I've only seen one match ANYWHERE where the chant was started and was actually merited.

Biggest lie? The blatant bait-and-switch with the Steiners/Team 3D "Dream match", promoting it, even though they knew Scott was injured

-The X-division Title is equal to the NWA(now TNA) World heavywieght title. It was greater than the World Title at one time imo. I agree. After what was, I believe, Unbreakable '05 when the 3-Way Match for the X-Division Title not only main-evented, but main-evented over a NWA World Heavyweight Title Match involving Jeff Jarrett, no less, I really thought TNA was turning the corner and was on its way to greatness. Cut to two years later and TNA has shot itself in the foot far too many times for me to count anymore. Also, as bad as a lot of us think Don West still is these days, he really has improved a lot over the years. I've been watching old NWA-TNA matches lately and West is just atrocious during the matches. It's like having to watch matches with the most hyperactive, dumbest wrestling mark ever. I'd say West is still annoying these days, but at least he's tolerable.

Damn right. In bad taste too. Stiener was badly hurt and they said he "punked out!" "They" didn't say that. Brother Ray did. That was the start of Team 3D's heel turn since heels always mock babyfaces when they get injured. This was the vehicle for the double turn. Last night it continued with Ray saying it was a 'little injury' with the announcers arguing with them.

Give that man the $10,000. It used to actually be that way in TNA, but not since last year in late October-early November.

The whole "Jarrett took TNA to Hogan" spin of a botched angle. I never saw it as a "botched angle." Jarrett beat up Hogan, and then Hogan never came to TNA to get revenge on Double J. So from a storyline perspective, Hogan is the one who looks bad, not TNA. I'm speaking more of how they oversell it as some defining moment in the history of the company. When really it's pretty irrelevant. Of all the things they could include in "TNA's top 5 moments". This makes it?

Ok, I could see how you could think they 'oversell' that moment.
Still it is pretty significant that TNA's most frequent world champion beat up the biggest name in wrestling history.
And since Hogan didn't come to TNA and wrestle a match, TNA might as well play up how Double J "got one over" on the Hulkster.
Plus it was a built in angle in case Hogan ever did come to TNA which looked reasonably likely at some point in the past year.

Well Kayfabe it's like, "Hogan fears TNA!" but in reality most fans see it as, "Hogan didn't want to waste his time working for TNA."

I'll bet most fans would see it as "TNA can't afford Hogan." Which considering how much Hogan gets paid, isn't too embarrassing for a five year old company. WWE can't afford to pay him anymore either.
