It's incredibly common in rasslin' for companies to oversell and lie about events. So I'm not singling out TNA as the one and only, but they do it so bluntly it's hilarious. So please post some of your favorite moments of overselling done by TNA. (excessive hype, rewriting history, exagerate signifigance of an event, lying about fan reaction, etc)
Here are some of mine.
-Jeff Jarrett VS Jeff Hardy was the biggest match in TNA's history when it took place.
-Christian Cage VS. Jeff Jarrett was the biggest match in TNA's history when it took place.
- "Sting:Return of an Icon" was the most anticipated DVD in TNA's history.
-The X-division Title is equal to the NWA(now TNA) World heavywieght title.
-Billy Gunn was a huge star and everyone was excited to see him come to TNA
-the WWE was pissed off and felt threatened by VKM's actions, and VKM came out on top by proving TNA was better.....(Don't ask me. They said it)
I'm not sure if you guys will get into this kinda subject, but please post any others you can think of. Or any videos involving the subject.

That one clip of Elix Skipper that they try to cram into every show even though everything else he does gets no attention. I mean, it was cool, but not when you show it a million times over.

Bubba falling off the top being a more impressive move than Hernandez's suicide dive.

Which reminds me of a couple more. -Lance Hoyt(then called Dallas) being the biggest wrestler AJ had ever faced, when he wrestled and beat Abyss months earlier. -Acting like AJ had never won the NWA title or beat Jarrett, when he won his 3rd world title. Even though he did the same thing twice before.

(insert wacky gimmick match here) will be the most innovative match you'll ever see!
*cut to 4 months later, after said gimmick match has been used 9 times*

-The X-division Title is equal to the NWA(now TNA) World heavywieght title. It was greater than the World Title at one time imo.

TNA--The new face of professional wrestling.
Jed Shaffer ~That "new face" looks an awful lot like a bunch of former WWE employees ...

Every single move by A.J. Styles as a face. You'd think these people had never seen a match before.
I've seen them literally praise a move A.J. did as "completely innovative" and "phenomenal", despite being done THREE TIMES on the same show, once by Shark Boy.

Their announcement hype specifically the one for Angle vs. Steiner. Was it really THAT exciting?
