If true that stinks. Hopefully the MRI reveals it's not that serious.

crap, just once I'd like to see a world champ's title reign end because of a booking decision, not because an injury is forcing them to drop it. actually it could be both.......but wwe.com said that it may not be serious

Many MANY children will be crying this Sunday night And I will laugh and mark out Children need a good cry every once in a while. I balled my eyes out when the 123 Kid couldnt beat Bret Hart for the WWF title on Raw in 1994, when he came so close. It makes a man outta ya! Waltman as WWE CHAmp? I'd mark out

I will give Cena credit for being the guy to constantly be go.go.go but this was going to happen sooner or later, it happens to everyone.

If Cena actually is injured, I can't wait to see the argument here over whose fault the botch was. I broke the damn Cena's arm! Just another example of Triple H burying the other talent. If you go through that move, frame by frame you can clearly see Triple H attacking Cena. This massively sucks for the WWE. Cena's been the one guy the WWE could count on. He hasn't gotten injured or been named in the steroids scandal, and now this happens. This will actually give him time off, which is the one good thing in this. I wish Cena a safe and speedy recovery.

Well, this could be Orton's big shot. I hope he doesn't screw up and make a fool of himself, I really do.

When in doubt, give the belt back to HHH or Dave and reset.

Well, this could be Orton's big shot. I hope he doesn't screw up and make a fool of himself, I really do. Honestly I have a bad feeling about both Orton and Batista being champions of their brand. Especially with this Steroid scandal, and congress, and the media. I think the descision to put the belt on both these guys will bite the WWE in the ass. However I am so sick and tired of Cena being champ that I am more than thrilled that he will lose the belt, and I believe Orton is a very talented individual, but he shouldn't be relied on.

There's not much need to worry about Batista, I think. I don't buy into the HHH politics paranoia as much as some people, but I do believe that they'd find a way to protect Dave.

Twice this year alone; Taker and Edge. You can also add in stuff like RVD's drug bust and Morrison's suspension to the pile of "champs losing their titles for reasons other than booking."

OR...
Could this all be a trick being played by Cena and using the website to also further the "mind games" being played between Cena and Orton???

Cena injured on Monday Night Raw Written: October 2, 2007
CLEVELAND – “No matter how serious the injury, one way or another I’ll be ready to compete on Sunday.” – John Cena in the locker room after Raw
During his match with Mr. Kennedy Monday night at Raw, WWE Champion John Cena was injured. As Randy Orton attacked Cena after the match, Jim Ross commented on The Champ's condition.
"It looked like Cena was injured earlier - his shoulder - against Mr. Kennedy," Ross said on the air.
If Cena was hurt, the injury was undoubtedly worsened by Orton’s brutal attack, which included two RKOs and an assault with steel ring steps.
The extent of The Champ’s injury is unknown. As a precaution, Cena headed to Birmingham, Ala. Monday night to be evaluated by Dr. James Andrews.
Stay with WWE.com for further updates on Cena’s condition as they become available.

Cena was gonna drop the title either way Yeah I believe so too, but at least if his injury is bad. He won't get the belt back within 3 weeks time.
