I dont hate Cena the person, and I dont like seeing anyone get injured, but god damn THANK GOD hes gonna be gone for a while. Its for sure this aint a work right? Seems kinda convient that he got injured at the same time Jericho may be coming back. Cause you know Y2J aint gonna get a real reign on RAW if face Cenas there...

I fail to see how Cena being off my TV screen for the next 6 months is a bad thing. QFT. My interest in the Raw main event scene just went up 100%.

well it will give cena a rest from the road hopefully. wasn't he on the road like 6 days a week for the wwe for about 1-2 years straight? eeeesh.
I'm honestly surprised he didn't get injured earlier.

Damnit, I wanted him to lose it...not get it stripped by injury....
Oh well...he doesn't have it anymore. And Temari is VERY HAPPY!!!

This totally sucks. Cena didn't deserve to have the title taken from him like this. He should have gotten to job out to someone, and give them the rub. Cena works very hard, and has been reliable through the past year, not missing shows and (as much as you haters don't want to admit) put on some great matches. While everyone else was roiding up and getting busted, he kept it cool and remained a hard worker. I only see HHH getting the title, and besides the whole "Save_Us222" thing (I'm not counting on it being Jericho like the rest of the interwebz is) this is actually bad for Raw, IMO. Like I said, one of your hardest working guys being out and the rest being roid users and just plain off their rocker (Orton I look in your direction) is just plain bad for the biz.

Wow.
1. I feel bad for Cena. Like, a lot. I respect him, though I put him down A LOT. But... 2. This will make for the shakeup I believe RAW needs.

We are back to the land of unpredictability. It's a crappy way for it to happen, but this is what the title scene has needed for a long time.
Unless of course, HHH gets the title back. Then we're back to square one.

Oh please!!!!! Its not like he broke his neck now THAT is a serious injury. It's a muscle tear like no ones ever came back from one of those before. Ever torn a muscle to that severity? If not then be quiet, it is harder to come back from than you think... What I think he means is that Cena will come back at 100%. This isn't a life or career threatening injury. And just because he may or may not have suffered an injury like Cena's doesn't make his point any less valid. I for one am happy he's gone. He's been going non stop for over 2 years. He was overdue for injury going night in and night out like that. This forces WWE to come up with new angles and push new people to the top. His stranglehold of the belt is now mercifully over (although the rub that someone would have gotten for finally taking him down is gone). Maybe he can sit down with Creative and remake himself into someone who can actually hold my interest.

This only reveals the sick hatred for John Cena on these forums. Have any of you stripped a muscle completely off the bone before? Enough to require surgery?

Well, this should at least prevent Cena winning the 2008 Royal Rumble.... ya think?
Hell, I'd say he's out of Wrestlemania altogether aside from being a special referee. Shit, did I just give the E an idea?

Maybe Cena can get some nice welcome back pops, it can rehab his image a bit among the IWC.
Get better bud.

I may not be pleased with how he's gone from my TV, but the fact that he is doesn't hurt my feelings any. Besides, it's not like he's going to stop earning money, or company benefits while he's out convalescing.
I wish him full recovery. But I also wish him lots and lots of time off.

A injury is never a good thing but this could be the best thing to happen to Raw. It FORCES Creative to get new guys into the mix or guys that havent been there in a while.
I hope Cena recovers and returns and the time off helps creative get their heads out of their asses and get things going in other directions.
More than likely though, HHH turns heel and gets the belt and holds it till Cena gets back and the vicious circle starts all over again.

So 13 months is now down the tubes. No one will get the massive rub from pinning Cena to win the title.
They should have just flown in Cena for the PPV, opened it with a three minute squash with Orton destroying Cena's arm and winning the title, and then booked a fan-pleasing match against someone new like Jeff Hardy. Anything would have been better than just vacating yet another title.

If him and Triple H were injured concurrently, RAW might just be completely watchable.
