-JR announcing Owen Hart's death. -Hogan turning heel and joining nWo. -Montreal Screwjob. -Big Show appearing from inside the ring and throwing Stone Cold towards the cage and out of the ring. -Stone Cold turning heel and joining Vince. I never thought that would happen.
Those are all I can remember. These were all before I knew about dirtsheets and stuff, so that helped.

Jim Ross announcing the death of Owen Hart.
We all knew that something bad had occured, but it was still shocking to hear that he had passed.

This might sound kind of lame
but as a kid . . the Undertaker locking The Ultimate Warrior in a casket freaked me the hell out
With that being said the snake bite moments is one of my favorite wrestling moments ever.

kayfabe wise, jake setting the snake on macho's gotta win it for me too, but otherwise, i'll have to count sid's leg break. that was the only time, other than watching giant gonzales vs the undertake,r that i have actually wanted to throw up while watchig wrestling.

When I was a lot younger..I remember watching Superstars when Jake Roberts locked Warrior inside a room with a ton of snakes. I was convinced that Roberts had just murdered the Warrior.
I was crushed. Yes, I loved the Warrior when I was a little kid, I clearly didn't know any better.

I'd have to say its the entire Benoit situation, between coming home and finding out he was killed (Which sent me into a fit of tears and rage that saw me punch my wall until my hands were a bloody mess), then suffering through the tribute RAW and then finding the headline on WWE.com at 11 PM "MURDER SUICIDE".
Beyond that....I'd have to say Foley's bumps in his HIAC vs Taker, and the previously mentioned Taker/Jake and Taker/Warrior situations.

SO many
Andre winning the belt from Hogan
Sandman getting blinded by Tommy Dreamer with the kendo sticks and both locker rooms breaking kayfabe.
One that is often over looked but Scott hall coming out to the ring on WCW nitro
Montreal of course
Owen's death hit home to me because my father died a month earlier

Finding out on PPV that Owen died Finding out on Raw that Benoit and his family died
Nothing could possibly top those 2, and I pray nothing does.

I'd have to say its the entire Benoit situation, suffering through the tribute RAW and then finding the headline on WWE.com at 11 PM "MURDER SUICIDE". This is exactly how it went down with me also. I watched the tribute on DVR, then went online and saw that it was a double murder-suicide. I felt like I had been kicked in the gut. No storyline has ever even come close to that.

The end of Wrestlemania 8...hands down. My favorite wrestling moment of all time, and it will never be beaten. I was a HUGE mark for The Warrior. I was 15 at the time and was pretty dissappointed at the Ultimate one fading away the year before. I was even starting to wane on even watching wrestling a bit because of it. Then, my dad suggested that we take that year's vacation to Indianapolis and attend Wrestlemania. This would be the first time I ever attended anything other than various houseshows so travelling 650 miles to Indy was pretty exciting. I was even allowed to bring one of my best friends with. The show was great and all and being part of a Mania ruled, but nothing will ever beat the joy and excitement of hearing the Warrior's music blare and that crowd going bonkers.

In a sad way, the whole Benoit deal. In a happy way, HBK coming back last week.

"Rey... Eddie's in hell!" Nahh. That was just cheap heat IMO. With WWE creative the past few years it was almost predictable.

Hogan losing the belt to Andre was a crusher as a child.
"Outlaw" Ron Bass slicing up Barber Beefcake's face with his spurs with the huge RED X over the screen.
The "return" of ECW during the InVasion; the first segment where RVD and Dreamer appeared and Heyman cut the promo.

Positively, Jericho's debut and Flair's return to WWE after Survivor Series 2001.
Negatively, the deaths of Owen, Eddie and Benoit.
