No thoughts of your own? No personal memories, just two words? Maybe he couldn't think of anything else to say at the moment, because he's emotional about it or at a loss for words. Maybe Matt Rogers said exactly what he was thinking and he felt he didn't need to add anything else as it was perfect as it. People react to things differently. BTW, can we PLEASE stay on topic here? I really don't want the attention taken away from Eddie. This is the second time that a flame war could have broken out. Come on guys, we're more mature than this. I'll never forget his last match with Kennedy on Smackdown, and he went out the way he probably would have wanted to......cheating to win . While I know some people may not see it the same now, I will still never forget Chris Benoit's tribute interview on the Eddie tribute show. I had tried my best not to cry at all, but that one did me in. I know exactly what you mean. I managed to regain my composure after the "Hurt" tribute video. But as soon as I saw Benoit, I said "Oh no, no God." and then I broke down when he did. It's still heartbreaking now, considering all that has happened.

Salute to a true legend.
I hope somehow he knows just how much everybody cares.

Eddie was a favorite of mine, and it's a shame he had to go so young. In a time where I didn't watch much SmackDown! I'm glad I randomly tuned in to watch what would turn out to be his final match. He was one of the greats and truly cannot be replaced.

One of the best heels of this generation, and one of the most beloved babyfaces.
One of the first guys, along with Dean-o Machine-o, to introduce junior-style puro to the US.
The reason why Rey Mysterio is a maineventer today.
One of the few guys who could truly do it all.
One of the best ever to lace up the boots.
RIP. Never forget.

It's one of those moments where I'll always remember where I was and what I was doing the day it was announced that he had passed away. I wasn't much of an expert of him at the time, but that year he easily became my favourite Wrestler on Smackdown during his heel turn and I was just starting to look into his earlier career. Needless to say it hit me very hard when I heard the news. I don't remember a wrestler's death causing me to be depressed for days, but this one honestly got to me. His life story and the stories you hear about him from other wrestlers are both tragic and heart warming and I can't listen to the song "Hurt" without immediately thinking of him.
RIP Eddie.

It took me months after his death to get accustomed to the fact that he would no longer be part of the Smackdown roster, and there are times I still can't believe it.
I still feel that if he didn't have the personal problems he had, he could have been the top guy of just about any promotion- WWE included- because of the rare combination of charisma and skill he possessed.

I've learnt to accept that with Eddie, it was just his time to go - however young he was, whatever the cause. I hasten to add - uninterfered cause.
I can't say the same thing about Benoit. I'm still in disbelief when I put the words "Benoit" and "dead" in the same sentence. Eddie's passing seems so long ago, so peaceful.

It doesn't feel like two years since Eddie passed on. Eddie was one of my all time favorites from the first time I saw him in WCW to his last days, i've always enjoyed Eddie's work. Eddie was one of THE best to ever do it. We all miss you Eddie.

I miss him a lot. He was a great wrestler, a fantastic entertainer, had lots and lots of charisma. Without being a 7' musclehead, he was a believable main eventer because of this. He had a lot of problems in his life and in the end, they caught up with him. Eddie, Rest In Peace.

Everyone on here has said a lot of the stuff I would say. Every time he came down the aisle, no matter who he was against or with, I knew I was in for something special. Just this last week I was watching him against Ray Mysterio Jr at Halloween Havoc 97, and how they practically tore the house down with their acrobatics. I remember the night he died I was just having such a good day, and then suddenly I just felt like I got punched in the chest.
I'm still going though the notions that his actually gone. Thanks to the fact he was such a great wrestler, and man, that I find it hard to believe that a loving God could possibly take him away like that. I miss Eddie so much.

RIP to one of the top 10 wrestlers of all time in my opinion. Probably even in the top 5. Great entertainer all-round, one in a million. We still miss you.

Two years ago, I was having my usual quiet Sunday night watching the NFL, and had WWE.com up in the background, and it had the usual build-up for RAW on it. I decided to refresh, and it came up with "Eddie Guerrero has died." My heart sank instantly.
