im always gonna wonder why 90% of the wrestlers in Chikara wear masks, I dont to why but its so funny IMO, concidering 80% of the masked wrestlers are your average white guy with no "Lucha" background, aside from what super dragon teaches the, in the school.

I dont watch alot of "TV" wrestling with the exception of Raw (once in awhile), and ECW (until Test vs. Holly two weeks ago). I tend to watch my secrect stash of CZW, ROH, ISW, IWS, IWA, AJPW... etc. etc., and i wanted to know what the hell is going on in TNA with Angle vs. Joe? Do you think Angle will beat Joe? To be fair with my knowledge of the promotion he could've all eady have snapped the "undefeated" streak, but i've always been a big Joe mark and i wanna know if who ever runs TNA is atucally gonna put the cripple over him.

No, it isn't, but nobody said it would be exactly what it used to be. The new ECW have more to consider. Crowd, tv-audience, network representatives, WWE management, etc. If anyone actually thought that this would be as the old ECW, then it's fool on you. How could Kurt Angle NOT squash Justin Credible, a man who jobbed in the 1st round of the FIP Heavyweight Tournament almost TWO years ago. A man whose only appearance on TV or PPV for years was when Raven beat him easily in TNA. Only the IWC smarks like us cares about him being the world champion way back. You really think Big Show's gonna jump right back again? Not gonna happen. I don't think Big Show fits in any more than The Gooker would, though, but I'm realistic. The Sci-Fi network wants ECW to incorporate the supernatural in some way, so having a zombie being squashed by Sandman is the lesser of two evils. We could have an undestructible boogeyman squashing former world champs, but that is Smackdown's domain. Yeah.. the rating of women... no comment... but a 7,7 out of 10 is good looking in my eyes.. I still don't get why some of you thinks that the old, non-successful (as in, not hired by TNA) wrestlers should go over established, former WWE champions. ECW is trying to build a brand here, to build an audience. They don't care whether or not a small community of dirtsheet writers crap on their product for "spitting in the face of every true ECW fan", they want to appeal to a much larger fanbase than that. A small but loyal fanbase doesn't bring in the kind of cash the "huge" masses of casual does. To illustrate an example.. a friend of mine have been watching WWE for 2 years or something now, and when I told him I was excited about Rey facing Sabu at ONS 2, he replied: "Sabu who?" He didn't even know who one of the biggest non-WWE affiliated ex-ECW stars was. I didn't even want to bring up Balls Mahoney, the Rotten Brothers, Masato Tanaka or Tony Mamaluke. And I don't think he's alone in his ignorance. WWE wants to make this a lasting brand, not an extension of One Night Stand where they honor some of the greatest pionérs in wrestling. That's why it's not going to be like ECW, and it's time everyone gets their head out of the sand and realize this. Me? I'm happy if it's better than RAW and Smackdown, which I predict it will be eventually, with a better timeslot, different venues and a different crowd.

never really make it in the WWE/WCW I mean Devon had that crowbar thing going on for him but it died out quick. i personally think they both should've made it big.
