I think that's her actual voice. In my opinion, when Maryse came to WWE back in the late-2000s, she had that French accent that sounded like she was from France. It was the same way with Rene Dupree back in the early-2000s, and then I later found a shoot interview and noticed that his voice sounded a little different. Both are French-Canadian, by the way. Maryse is from Quebec, Renee is from Ontario. It's like asking why I a New Yorker don't sound like someone from Alabama even though were both American. Renee dupree not Paquette

Why do they go for live action reset Instead of just continuing the popular thing they’re trying to milk us for?
Studios: Hey you like Avatar? We’re gonna try again with the live action thing!
Me: Wouldn’t it be cheaper to just animated it? There is a built in story people want to see Animated. It did end with “where my mom?” From Zuko and the story was already written for that graphic novel.
Me: you know what I loved wished they made more of? The tick! Studios: that’s a great idea. It’s smart weird comedy to appealed to a lot of adults. So let’s make it live action with Patrick Warburton. And then again on Amazon.
I think the upcoming X-Men 97 is the only throwback/revival show I’ve seen where they actually pick up where they left off from an older version of the franchise. Maybe animaniacs and the upcoming tiny toons count but they were anthology comedic skits, so I don’t know if that counts.
Anime is just a mess in general. I think the only ones that I’ve enjoyed was the Kenshin series because it’s basically just a samurai movie (and made in Japan for the Japanese), and the gto drama which also make sense since it’s about a young teacher

After watching “It could happen to you” for the first time, I’ve always looked at Nicholas Cage as a baby face despite his weirder villainous roles.

Much like the wrestling
“Better as a face of heel”
Which actors do you find more entertaining (or prefer) one way or the other?
I was watching some old clips of John Lithgow and this guy is amazing as Dick Solomon. But man the difference between evil Dick and regular Dick is amazing. He just relishes in being a cartoonishly super evil type. When I watch him in movies like cliffhanger, I’m like “he’s such a bastard”. But I just prefer when I see him in roles just a nicer befuddled older man like Barney’s dad on how I met your mother, and Harry and the Hendersons. I still haven’t watched that season of Dexter he was on. Heard it was the best one

I wouldn’t necessarily call it a a lazy clip show. There were new games in there that confused me for a bit. I was like “wait, did I see this one before?”
Also, I remember when the wrestlecrap guys did a clip show and people bitched about it, they brought up a good point, when it’s a small crew doing this stuff, a clip show is a huge pain in the ass finding all those specific clips. It’s easier for them actually film new stuff.
Considering this supposed to be about “all of them”, I’d rather they out they actually bring up all the old ones instead of me looking them up individually
Also, that hairline! You guys weren’t kidding. It didn’t bother me before but it’s starting to look like Robocop with his helmet off

Absolutely no prior experience? Some experience but not notable?
Nxt champion? Main roster champion?
There’s a thought that nxt failed to produce stars outside of the already well known indie wrestlers. But did they? What version of nxt counts? How much indie experience?
Big E. Did he wrestle before wwe? Or at least notably? Bray Wyatt Iiconics Rusev Veleveteen dream (dude would have been a star if he wasn’t derailed by what he may or may not have done) Mandy and Sonya Otis Gable Street profits Naomi Bianca Charlotte Do we count bayley and Sasha as prominent independent wrestlers? Alexa Elias (pretty over in nxt, massively over on raw) Corbin (he was pretty in nxt for a few months, most overpushed guy on main roster) Enzo and cass (and Carmella and Liv)

Does Jeff hardy count for this thread ? Or does it have to be for budget cuts and mass releases?

Taz gets it on being a heel commentator, I've come to appreciate his AEW work, I do recall he wasn't a fan of being a heel on TNA where they wanted him to bury the faces. Though I wasn't sure if he was a heel or face in the WWE, yet I somehow liked his pairing with Michael Cole I get Michael Cole levels of insufferable heel with Graves. He didn't used to be that bad, but its been a lot worse the last few years. I appreciate taz, but to get the easy joke out of the way I see Corey has copied Taz in the “hey get my name out of your mouth! (When no one was talking about you)” department

Do these wwe guys ever backtrack or admit they misunderstood whenever they “clap back” at someone online and everyone points out that the OP wasn’t talking about them, or completely different issue?
It reminds me of whenever Meltzer says anything negative about a woman wrestler and then everyone starts calling him a mysognist when he’s talking about their actual wrestling ability

I mean, I was one of the biggest advocates of 205 Live around this place for years. But why would you even bother with the show now that it's NXT Dark, it's on directly against Rampage, and for whatever reason, Peacock doesn't archive the new episodes until a month afterwards, despite being the primary way to watch 205 Live when it's livestreamed? They do that 30 day delay thing for that show? That’s so weird since it’s a wwe network show. Raw is because of USA network and Hulu but nxt shows up the next day and smack down shows up on the fox app

Did it really happen?
Man, they seem to debut a lot of things on 205 live and then act like nobody’s every seen them before on nxt.

The WWE is not a company that values creativity, whether it's on the writing side of things, graphics, production... They want homogeneity, and on the graphics side, they want things that can be knocked up fast because Vince changed his mind half an hour before it's due to be on air. Shame. Because the cwc and myc match graphics looked like crazy mortal kombat fights

Walking TallA TV movie remake of the movie(s) of the same name, with the aim of turning it into a full TV series, starring Charlotte Flair. How does one character go from being played by Joe Don Baker to The Rock to Charlotte Flair? I think Kevin Sorbo was somewhere in there after Dwayne and before Charlotte.

I mean, WWE trimming the fat everywhere. Did they ever officially kill their "movie division"? that had to have been a huge money loser.
