Wrestling is under the same umbrella as sports, so it still holds water. Pro wrestling in general can still be entertaining even if a particular product is not. Professional wrestling is "Sports Entertainment", which is a fancy way of admitting that they're not a real sport, at least not in the vein of something like professional football or basketball. And that's just ignoring the fact that even if you're favorite team might not be winning, you can still find enjoyment out of the games as a whole. Your favorite team doesn't have to be winning for you to find football worth watching. But by admitting that Raw isn't entertaining, you're saying that it's not worth watching. So why watch it? Pro wrestling, like football, in general is entertaining to me, so I'll watch it. I've watched HORRIBLE local feds on local channels just because it was wrestling. It doesn't matter if it's bad. I still wanna watch it because I'm a fan of it. I'm a Panthers fan and the team ain't that great. I've sat through several bad seasons, yet I never stopped watching games because there were things about it I liked. Same thing goes for wrestling. There are aspects of wrestling that I'll like regardless if a show is entertaining or not. Also, like regular sports, people love to complain about wrestling. RAW threads here during awful shows are a blast because everybody is having such a miserable time and start taking shots at the show. Finding things to complain about, at times, can be just as entertaining as a quality show.

Fans of a bad sports team don't stop watching the games because they're bad. They watch in hopes of them winning and being good again. Wrestling is no different. They have the tools to be great. They just have to use them properly. But wrestling isn't a sport, it's a television show. People will continue to watch sports even if they're favorite team is losing, because the sport itself is still entertaining. If wrestling isn't entertaining, why waste time watching it? Especially considering that by doing so, you don't give WWE any incentive to actually change anything, because you're already proving you'll take whatever they give you, regardless of whether or not you like it. Wrestling is under the same umbrella as sports, so it still holds water. Pro wrestling in general can still be entertaining even if a particular product is not.

If WWE actually put in the effort, Kidd & Gabriel could be a super over tag team.

Goodell and the owners are talking a 16 team playoffs, basically adding two teams and getting rid of the bye week. I swear, Goodell is secretly working for the NBA, MLB, and NHL to help destroy the NFL.

Honestly, if I had never seen ADR wrestle, based off that hype piece, I'd think he was the greatest thing ever.

If ADR didn't have Ricardo, his TV time would literally be worthless.

Not sure if JC Ice and Wolfie D are the solution to ratings problems. In all seriousness, I'd like to see a 1992/1997 WWF or late 1996/1997 WCW era for the model. The product needs an edgier, grittier in your face feel. I agree with an earlier post about making the product more "real". The audience has grown accustomed to when matches will end, start, etc. Shake things up. Have matches end during commercial breaks. As I mentioned, with WCW, I loved when they ended shows as the action was still going on. It made the show seem chaotic. Now, with the growth of the web, WWE can put extra footage online. The problem with that is that people don't want to watch wrestling online, as shown by the fact that NXT and Superstars got next to no viewers when it was WWE.com exclusive. That's because they were NXT & Superstars.

That December 27th episode sounds absolutely horrid. Roode/Aries cheat-off sounds like the only thing worth watching.

I'm not prepared to say this is a cure all since you're doing this much tv the writing team has to be burned out. You also have the threat of overexposure. Just being edgy isn't the answer because TNA has tired that. The difference between WWE & TNA is that WWE isn't mostly incompetent. They could do the exact same style of edge and WWE's would flow better because they usually know what they're doing.

The muppets have been around since before the adults in the audience were even born. They will likely enjoy them as much as the kids will. I'm an adult and I still love the muppets.

I'm on board with the "Give us 80s edgy and not mid-90s edgy" crowd. I want a Col. Debeers refusing to wrestle people of color and then violently attacking them. I want a Horsemen-esque supergroup that aren't chickenshit heels and actually prove they're as good as they say they are. I don't want the Attitude Era. I want an era with some attitude. There's a difference.

Straight up singles matches are fun, but when you get more than two people in the ring it gets old real quick with the hit detection. Gets so annoying when your moves are constantly being cut off and you're being knocked down by other people suplexing guys into you. Drove me nuts. Yeah thats what made the game a bit of a piss off for me, I still consider it a very good wrestling game, but people hiptossing guys into you is ridiculously dumb But that's as realistic as it gets, though. It would actually happen that way in real life. You get hit by a guy and you fall. That's simulation in its glory. That's why I loved the Nintendo games more than the others. They were true simulations while the games on Playstation were more arcade-based.

I'm pretty sure he said Montana was the perfect qb for the system.I equate this to Hulkamania, where Vince couldn't have done it without Hulk and Hogan wouldn't have been as huge without Vince. I just think the clutch factor matters a whole helluva lot more than inflated stats. Brady is a great qb, but if I needed a touchdown with 2 minutes left in the Superbowl Montana is the only guy I'd want behind center. Hey, there's nothing wrong with thinking Joe Montana is the greatest of all-time. He's the only other quarterback I'd entertain a discussion about as one I'd want over Tom Brady. People generally misunderstand the argument when they say "Who is a better quarterback?" It's not "Who had the more yards?" or "Who had the most touchdown passes?" It's what you said. Who do you want under center with two minutes left in the Super Bowl. That's where the debate really falls to only two options: Brady or Montana. Sure, Peyton Manning, Brett Favre and Dan Marino were all fine quarterbacks in their own right, but for all the gaudy statistics they put up, I'd avoid all three like the plague if my team's down four with 90 seconds left in the Super Bowl. EDIT - Almost forgot, another 12-12-12 video: If I were a mod, I'd ban you for posting that video.

I honestly think that with pro wrestling, the less I know, the better off I am.
