Eh, I know I've given time off to some of my employees for personal problems or being depressed. I've taken it too. In any line of work if there's personal problems distracting you to the point you're depressed, I don't want you working. You're a danger to my business and when you're in the field, yourself. However, for a last second call that tried to BS out of it.. that's what I find lame. Had he called a day or two before and say "Look I'm depressed and I think I'm not safe to be in the ring", then I'd give him no grief and actually respect him for that. That's the worst part to me to, being so last second about it, not the fact that he wasn't there. That's the problem with depression, you can feel like a million bucks for weeks or days at a time, then everything crashed down on you. Watch Scott Halls latest shoot and you can see how often his mood changes, it's part of depression.

Having personal issues and being depressed are two different things. Being depressed is just as bad as having a disease in many situations. I'm sure it didn't help that everyone was ready for him to fail and no one gave him the chance to let go of his past and cahnge for the better. When he no showed Turning Point everyone accused him of "falling" off the wagon, thats gotta be hard to hear for someone recovering from addiction like that, then to be belittled on national PPV by Samoa Joe why your best friend just stands there. I truly feel for Hall.

Ok, gotcha. Well I still disagree (are you shocked?) ;D RVD WAS a decent to good talker in ECW, but according to RVD WWE gave him scripts where all he was allowed to say was "Cool" and "Dude." That is his opinion, not mine, I never saw RVD in WWE. It sounds to me like that was another case of a guy not being used to his full potential because of WWE being stupid. Even if he did find some success in the company. They allowed him to express himself more during his last year with the company, and they made him World Champion (albeit briefly). I think he found a LOT of success, and it's hard to be used to a higher potential than World Champ. As a booker/promoter I'll tell you this, if you're going to have a match that has a guarentee in the stipulations then the effect of that guarentee should be seen/announced that night, especially if I'm paying 40 dollars for the damn thing. When you order boxing and it come down to a time limit draw they don't say and we will announce the verdict next week on ESPN, people want to know what were the results of what they just paid to watch. It's bad booking by TNA (maybe not Russo maybe someone else wrote it) people want results you don't make money by dicking over the fans. Agree 100%. Incidentally, what promotion do you book for? And where's it located? UWL in Akron, Ohio

I'm sitting at Hooters with two of my wrestling buddies. One of them says Bound for Glory 06 was TNA's biggest ppv with the most buys, where my other friend says it was the one in January of 06 when Sting returned. Who was right, or is it something different, like more recent? Uhmm talking about half naked guys at hooters, is that what straight people do?

...and after seeing that and history having revealed more and more "behind the scenes" information you STILL wonder WHY wrestling has such a bad rap? If someone convincingly by all mean tries to sell you his truth, which turns out to be a bunch of mothersmurfing lies, HOW, HOW could you trust them? Wrestling IS artificial, there is NO doubt about that. If we had wrestlers acting like THAT today, the whole Benoit thing would have a far worse aftermath on the image of pro wrestling. It would probably be somewhere close to the image of people reenacting bloody schoolgirl rape. I totally understand that you don't want to hear people, who have no clue, talk about how you are big only because you took steroids, how wrestling is fake, etc., etc. But, you DO NOT threaten them with violence, you DO NOT hit them, you DO NOT LIE and say "NO I DON'T TAKE STEROIDS!" If you are able to articulate yourself properly you can say things like: "Please tell me how to fake a fall from 8 feet to the canvas!" "You do not get big by taking steroids. Why are ALL muscular people regularly working out if you just have to take funny pills to get big?" "I offer you a free training at a local wrestling school. Tell me how fake it is after that!" Yelling and insulting people gets you nowhere. That Jim Wilson guy was actually pretty professional for not acting like a rabid monkey with acute roid rage (if there is such thing) and remaining calm no matter how Dr. (Dr? I seriouly doubt he even went to college) Death David Schultz insulted him. Wrestling has gone a long way from those days and today promoters are intelligent enough to have guys like John Cena, Chris Jericho or Kevin Nash represent their company on TV. Ok, Cena and Jericho STILL were dodging and dissimulating the truth, but not in such an impudent way as Schultz. If wish there more wrestlers like Kevin Nash. He's very intelligent, articulate and today makes no secret about the dark sides of the business. He openly admitted to heavy drinking, steroids, backstage arguments, drug abuse and such as being part of the business. However he clears up a lot of false rumours and all that in a witty and not insulting way. Uhmmmm, i got my picture taken with Buff

He's a bounty hunter now, no not the racist word kind, he is the kind of bounty hunter who goes around tells people to get the smurf on the ground, then instead of telling them about Jesus he tells them how wrestling is real and he has never heard of blading. He is Doctor the bounty huntaaaaaa
